” YOUR STAY THE ENTIRE TIME MAKING IT UNPLEASANT BY PUTTING YOU THROUGH HELL TO HAVE A GUEST COME VISIT YOU. ALSO THEY HAVE “NO POOL, NO MICROWAVE TO REHEAT MEALS, NO IRON & IRONING BOARD IN YOUR ROOM”. THE STAFF IS MADE UP OF RUDE YOUNG BRATS AND WHO HAVE NO SKILLS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT ONLY THERE FOR A PAY CHECK!!! THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR PAPER CUPS WHEN I ASKED FOR EXTRA CUPS!???? WHEN I FIRST GOT THERE I ORDERED A STEAK MEAL AND IT WAS THE WORST CRAP I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE AND NEVER ATE THERE AGAIN WHILE I STAYED FOR 4 DAYS. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS HOTEL THEY WILL MAKE YOU ALMOST HATE CARTEGENA BASED ON HOW UNWELCOMING THEY ARE TO NON SPANISH SPEAKING GUESTS! WORST STAY IN ALL OF MY INTERNATIONAL TRAVELS AND I HAVE TRAVELED A LOT AND NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A TREATMENT. EVEN WHEN I READ SOMETHING ABOUT THE GUEST ISSUES ON A REDDIT POST AFTER I ALREADY BOOKED, I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEIR RUDE IDIOTS OF STAFFS KEPT HANGING UP THE PHONE ON ME!!! STEER CLEAR AND FIND A BETTER HOTEL IN CARTAGENA AND MAKE SURE TO CALL AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE YOU BOOK TO INQUIRE ABOUT HAVING YOUR GUESTS.

The friendliness of all the staff and the food are what stand out, but really, to receive so many guests a year, they should allocate more budget to the maintenance of the facilities to provide a good experience, because the doors of the rooms did not close properly (it was very scary to leave your belongings there), the electricity also caused a bit of anxiety when connecting devices, and the floors of the rooms were loose, so it hurt if you suddenly found yourself without shoes.
