Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof 3 estrelas

We spent four nights at this hotel just before Christmas. It is perfectly located just over the road from the Main Train Station in Vienna and well positioned for exploring Vienna with a travel pass. Despite it being in a busy area it is surprisingly quiet and the area around the hotel seemed safe and clean. There are many fast food outlets in the train station. The room and bathroom are spacious and were very clean. The breakfast buffet serves both hot and cold items and even has a machine for making your own waffles. The crockery and cutlery were always clean. Check-in and check-out was quick and reception staff were always helpful. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Vienna again as it was very good value for money.

Decent hotel with good location next to the public transport hub - 3 metro stops to Stephanplatz and 10 minute’s walking to Belvedere. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice lobby. Good breakfast. There are queues at checkout and it may take more than 30 minutes.

The friendliness of staff makes a huge difference in a stay. I actually booked this hotel twice as a result within a three week period for a return trip. It was a short stay on both occasions but having compared to other hotels the experience was nice to come back to. Rooms were clean and modern, with USB sockets all over, good strong shower, and comfy beds. The views were nice too. Breakfast had a wide range and the staff here too were very attentive. The location is right near the main city train station and walking distance to a number of sights. There are a number of eating options and small supermarkets in the station and surrounding area. I found it a very comfortable stay. Super easy check-in and check-out.

Superb Hotel in terms of overall convenience and comfort..Stayed there with my family (Wife and 2 teenage daughters).Just a minute away from the main train station making it so convenient for commute to other far off locations..Tram is also just a minute or two away to go to all the main tourist attractions. Front Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms are fairly decent in size, and very well maintained. Bathrooms are slightly smaller. Breakfast spread was pretty good..For a quick lunch or dinner, we could just walk to the station opposite where there are more than 15 different cuisine options. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with only positive comments to report.;;

Jacob and his team were exceptional with regard to customer service. He, in particular, and his team in general, at every opportunity were patient, understanding and very focused on customer service. I travel frequently for business reasons and without doubt this experience is up there with the very best. I highly recommend this hotel and its staff to all travellers who value the very best in customer service.
