Located in an ideal location, close to all that Edinburgh has to offer, this is a great place to stay. Extremely polite and welcoming staff made the check-in process very easy. The rooms are neatly appointed and have everything needed for your stay. We availed of the breakfast each morning and were delighted with the variety and quality of the offering. They serve the full breakfast from 7am and we found this very helpful. An excellent hotel for exploring a beautiful city.

We stayed at the Ibis South Bridge for a short break March 2025. all the staff at check in and breakfast time where very friendly & efficient and extremely helpful, We had requested a high floor with a street view and this was duly granted ( room 832 ) This was our 5rd time using the Ibis South Bridge, The hotel is clean bright , definitely recommend for a short break great location for exploring Edinburgh, It was my wife's birthday during our stay and on the day of her birthday the staff had placed a birthday card balloons & sweet treats on the bed, the bar serves a good selection of beers & wines, spirits as well as light meals & snacks, Thank you all again for another memorable stay 😊

The room is clean and comfortable and doesn't feel cramped like some hotel rooms can. The location is perfect, right in the middle of lots of popular shops and attractions, as well as 5 mins walk from Waverley train station. We just had dinner in the restaurant and the food was piping hot and tasted great, our server Aikaterini was super welcoming and took great care of us.

Great place to stay for night or Two, If it’s just somewhere clean and comfortable this Hotel suits the bill Location is great ,even with it being in the centre of things it was very quiet , staff were friendly and helpful . The beds were so comfy.

Good location for the hotel near shops restaurants and royal mile. Staff extremely friendly. However the rooms are really basic and shower cubicle not great toilet doesn’t really properly flush! Not enough plugs in the rooms and the bar upstairs was very limited in drinks and service closed early! Despite advertised to be open for late night cap etc! Extremely pricy for what you get however it was rugby week end! Anyhow highest rate for two rooms I have ever paid in a similar hotel in an capital in the UK and in Europe
