We are just back from a brilliant trip to Edinburgh. The hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of the city - very close to train, tram & bus stops. The tram was great for the airport as well as getting into town. We were a large group and had asked for 2 special occasion dinners. They were both fabulous. The food was delicious (I’m a Haggis convert!), the attention to detail for the layout excellent and the staff looking after us could honestly not have done more for us. Breakfast every morning was great - even on the days I didn’t appear until service was about to finish I was still able to get a full, (and still fresh!) breakfast. All of the staff we met were polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one. We will be back.

The Novotel Edinburgh Park, was the perfect location for our 60th birthday friends and family visit as it gave us so many options for travel. The staff from the moment we arrived were perfect hosts and the service was exceptional. Our rooms were clean and well equipped. The atmosphere was of a hotel that really cared passionately about their guests and of staff who cared deeply about their role in making the stay memorable. Particular mention goes to Attila, Roxy and Sharon for all the help and assistance in planning and booking and Alex, Zuzanna, Lionel, Jon, the chef and everyone who served us or helped us over the week. We will hopefully return one day!

Firstly, the welcome from Iryna late in the evening made me feel right at home. She kindly honoured my request for a bath and upgraded me as it was quiet. The room itself was not the predictable layout for a hotel bedroom; someone had given thought to the design and I particularly liked the folding screen doors to the bathroom. The bed was especially comfortable and I appreciated the sofa in the room. Marco in the restaurant was a smiling presence and very attentive. The extensive, included breakfast was wonderful and the coffee pods and Clipper teas demonstrated that high quality was important. Being able to enjoy the spa twice during my stay was a treat. There were some maintenance issues, which I mentioned at reception (the door to the end shower cubicle didn’t lock and the shower itself fluctuated hot and cold every few seconds; the changing room requires some serious drainage - I was standing in an inch of water at one point). Great location with the tram station just minutes away and, once the tram ceased running, really quiet. Alex was also helpful on reception, allowing me to leave my suitcase in the office, whilst making use of the spa. All-in-all a very satisfying two days.

We arrived at reception staff were helpful and friendly,I was here for my birthday.Room was spotless and spacious.Teas and coffee and water in the fridge.Toiletries in bathroom.We used the pool was lovely and warm.Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice.bar was nice with friendly staff.would recommend this hotel.
