Effortless ride on airport train - inexpensive and no stress with traffic jams. Getting from Makkasan station is a bit tricky. You can see the hotel, but there is no proper pedestrian walkway. There is a shuttle that runs during the day, but if you are not the adventurous type a taxi is probably right. It should be able to get you there for the initial minimum of taximetre. Once you get there, hotel is fairly well maintained, rooms are fairly good for a short stay (the reason being that bathroom is somewhat a part of the room to an extent that for longer stays would not be comfortable). The "save the environment - re-use your towel" suggestion is a bit impossible - there is virtually nowhere to hang your towels to dry for re-use. Apart from that staff is friendly and helpful, ice cubes however you have to pick up downstairs at the bar to avoid a charge. Swimming pool and area around it is nice and pleasant to spend easily a few hours. The view from our room, if not spectacular was without any obstructions - open space where the old railway tracks lie. If the price is right absolutely worth considering as more central parts can easily be reached by a metered taxi at an affordable rate.

One more time I was short time transit in Bangkok. The free shuttle service to Petchburi MRT and airport link station is convenient. The hotel is very close to Makkasan airport link station, but it's difficult to reach on foot. The street has no sidewalk and is dark in the night.

The blackout curtains do not overlap. Try as you might, you cannot adjust them to close/shutout daylight completely. Due to this, a strong sliver of daylight and sunlight (depending on the time of day) sneaks into the room. For a jet lagged traveler like me, whose flight arrives very early in the morning, sleeping in daytime/late afternoon is just not possible. This issue is evident in night time too, as ambient light sneaks in! In room slippers are provided in a sealed plastic wrapper. One needs to have a pair of scissors in hand or sharp nails to open the wrapper. Why can't the plastic wrapper have a simple adhesive flap to open ? Just defies me. The internet is dodgy at best. In the past 2~3 stays that i have had at this hotel, i had to forgo the complimentary internet access provided by the hotel and use my mobile phone as a hot spot to access the internet. It either does not connect or has a intermittent connection. Very frustrating. Wonder if the hotel staff does a check of such things as a regular practice or awaits a customer feedback to do so. The breakfast menu is boring. That is, if one stays here for 3~5 days. The menu is plain repetitive. Why can there be no change in the menu, to keep it refreshed for long stay customers ? When you opt for the Premium rooms, you get a complimentary lounge access. Thank you, Mercure. But the timings are quite weird. 5 to 6.30 pm are the happy hours. Most customers would still be travelling during this time. The luck few, would benefit, i guess. Why cant it be like 6 to 8 pm ?

Быстрый заезд в номер, хорошие завтраки, 24-х часовое обслуживание (закуски и полноценные блюда), недорогой СПА, бассейн с видом на город - одним словом - всё что надо для небольшой остановки в Бангкоке. Рядом есть ж/д станция для поездки в центр города или в аэропорт, до станции можно дойти пешком или доехать на отельном шаттле (ходит каждые полчаса). Всё очень понравилось.

Well appointed hotel, friendly and efficient staff, lovely roof top pool and bar area. The location is unusual in that it is outside the usual tourist and business areas. However, it is ideally situated for access to the Airport Rail Link enabling fast and reliable transfers to the airport, avoiding Bangkok’s notorious traffic. Major tourist and business areas easily accessible just a couple of stops by MRT. Hotel provides half-hourly tuktuk shuttle service to the station, just a 3 minute ride away. Rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. However, this hotel has followed the some Ibis Styles brand of bathroom set up in Asia: separate shower, toilet, and wash basin. That is not a problem in itself if the design were properly thought through. The door to the shower cubicle is not a full door so after a longish hot shower steam seeps into the room area and a damp smell pervades the room. The wash basin is not enclosed and outside the shower and toilet cubicles. The toilet cubicle itself also does not have a full door, there is a good 30cm gap at the top, and the extractor fan is not strong, I leave the rest to your imagination if you’re sharing the room with another person... Recommendation to the hotel: fit full doors to the shower and toilet cubicles!

The free tuktuk shuttle service from/to Phetchaburi MRT/Makkasan ARL stations made it so convenient even late at night to get to the hotel. I was promptly picked up from Phetchaburi MRT station upon arrival. Cool refreshing view from my room facing the ARL tracks made my morning all the more relaxing before my biz meeting. Sumptuous buffet breakfast completed my stay. Very courteous and helpful staff from tuktuk drivers, frontdesk and attentive restaurant staff all made my brief stay/layover in Bangkok truly enjoyable.

This is the second time we stayed there, and we will definitely come back more than once. The location is very central, but there's the small caveat that you shouldn't try walking to the hotel, instead, take either one of their two free shuttle busses, or taxi/grab/bike - as always in Bangkok. The room, pool, restaurant, lounge, are all very nice and of good quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would like to especially commend K. Cherry, one night there was a power outage due to a huge thunderstorm (this is common in Thailand) and a certain group of tourists complained obnoxiously for at least two hours non-stop - K. Cherry stayed calm, professional, and polite all the time!

I found the restaurant staff to be very friendly during breakfast and the check in staff were exceptional. There are a couple of things that I would like to highlight. The housekeeping of the room was not consistent. I found that two days in a row my room was not serviced when I put the sign outside the door, the note pad had been used by the previous guest and a couple of the drinks in the minibar were dirty and one of them had a rice grain wedged in between the drinking area. I was very dismayed to find that on checkin I was informed that I would need to make a deposit which was fine however I was not informed that this was placed on hold and then had to make a payment on checkout. I had by the time used the majority of money and had I been informed then this situation wouldn't have been an issue. I was also issued with a potential fine for smoking in the room which I do not smoke, again attention to detail not being made by assigning the accusation to the wrong room. The breakfast manager in the black suit I found to be very unwelcome and not discreet in his dismay when I asked to continue my breakfast in my room. I do feel that if I am paying for the food and the majority of accor hotels allow this I found it quite shocking this was not allowed at this hotel especially with room service being available. The last thing that left a bitter taste in my mouth was when I was kindly offered a tour with chauffeur card to some of the most beautiful temples and floating market. I was told a set price however was not told that the floating market was going to cost between 3000-6000 baht, again had I known I would have avoided this however when asked at booking stage for the tour how much the market would cost this was not answered. Unfortunately this left me very upset on checkout and I expected better.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights during October 2019. The hotel is excellent in terms of its location and food and beverage offered during the breakfast buffet. It is well connected via Airport Metro Link. The shuttle service for Airport Metro Station is added advantage to reach the hotel.

Nice Hotel but not a lot around outside and drinks are very expensive to buy there. Complimentary taxi service to and from hotel to train station is good but needs to be as nothing to do outside hotel.

The good side: - hotel staff, from reception to the pool bar, were super friendly and helpful, they always wore a big smile on their face - hotel is located to the MRT station and the Airport Rail Link station, it is within a manageable 5-10 minute walking distance (not recommend to walk as essentially it does not have any pedestrian sidewalk), but hotel also provide a free tuk-tuk service to the stations. - good value for money, with a not too busy swimming pool, enough for you to relax and chill for half a day. The down side: - limited amenities provided, no toothpaste or toothbrush in the room, nor any slippers. Also only has a conditioning shampoo (but no conditioner), so it might be a slight problem for ladies with long hair. - saw some stains in the toilet upon close inspection - the toilet in the room has quite an open design, a bit embarrassing when you are doing your business inside the toilet and your friend can listen to it outside - tuk-tuk service could be better advertised

They have provide the memberships benefits for the elite members, the welcome fruits & welcome. The Staff of the hotel are very helpful. They room service delivery food efficient. You need to walk far away if u follow the traffic light to cross the to hotel by taking airport express.

Nice stay. Everything was great, the I my sad thing is that on AccorHotels webpage they write that you get 10% discount when booking via their webpage and being a loyalty member. But that is NOT true when booking in Asia. So it’s actually false advertisement. That they definitely could do better.

The overall rate would be OK value for money. Bed was soso, for me 100 kg and my wife 35 kg the mattras was too soft we both felt lack of support. The design of shower/toilet is inventive but if you don't like half open toilet with milkwhite glass, not a future solution all in the room will hear your pooping details as to the open design. The interior is ok but details not up to standard; some piece of wood peeping out of under the lightwall, the top of the lightwall contains raugh edge damaging you tablet cover or laptop cover should you decide to store them there, which if you work on the desk is very likely to happen. There are no clothing hooks (not on door of cabinet) so where to put your shirt/pants?? The light in the closet guides you all night so convenient if you need too pee at night but other than that anoying. The compartment with the fridge is build by a moron, not sufficient air flow, therefore you fridge wont cool and the frigde compartment generate a heatwave once you open it. now service was ok, the room was not ready on arrival but a free drink was there to compensate. The extra bed for child was made up, contrary to our previous stay at Accor where they not even demonstrated how to use the bed, so in Makkasan OK, job well done. Breakfast was good, i enjoyed and was able to kind of have a different experience each morning due to large choice. Swimmingpool was ok but no extra's for kids, and yes there were a lot due ot the offer of 4 p per room. Missed oportunity. Back in the room missing hooks in the bathroom to let all the swimmstuff drip and and dry, an easy fix but i not see it happen as i read it in a review before but management did not understand / act on the comment. I would say spend few baht, install 2 hooks in a corner in the shower room, install some hooks on the wall next to the tv. Which speaking of tv has no accessable options like HDMI or other wise just wireless screensharing. Worked fine the screen sharing but is was not stable thus had to start like 3 times during one movie. Overheat of the tv circuits?? As to the location, there is nothing, repeat nothing outside the hotel but the vieuw on the green zone and the rails of the airportlink/regular railway. no 7-11, and yes a xxx parlour, but you need to travel always to entertain of shop neccessities like a snack or bottle of milk. There is during day time a shuttle but it brings you halfway and than drops you just on the street and you may walk the remaining bit

We had a great holiday in Bangkok! We stayed in this hotel under a family of 12 people, including kids and elderly. On arrival at the hotel reception, your staff Mr Dodo was very friendly and helpful, he helped me to contact our preferred local restaurants and reserve tables for dinner. Ms Yui was very kind and helpful too, she assisted us to arrange refund of deposit as our family need to check out the hotel at different time. On the other hand, the rooms and swimming pool were very clean, the food served at swimming pool bar was very delicious, we enjoyed so much. The shuttle service was great too, the staff drivers were friendly. Thank you for the excellent services, specially appreciated to Dodo and Yui, you two did a good job! Best Wishes!
