Great staff, great food, great hotel. I love the professionalism of the staff at the hotel, from concierge to receptionists to housekeeping to waitresses in the restaurant and the bar. The hotel is fairly new and the rooms nice. Reception were great and Restaurant pretty good. Great for nightlife and access to many possible day trips.

the hotel is located a few hundred metres from the red light district and what they don't advertise is as soon as you step outside hotel you are greeted with lady night workers on both sides of the road who grab you and sexually harass you which is horrible to experience every time you depart or enter the hotel, When i checked in they were demanding a 2000 Baht deposit in cash which i refused as i was only there for 2 days and needed the cash i had, they made a drama about this and eventually when i threatened to cancel the booking and leave they agreed to empty the mini bar so i didn't need to pay which i find crazy why anyone would pay mini bar prices when there is a 7-eleven outside the hotel. as i entered my room i noticed how dirty and old the carpet was and when i checked the bed i found a blood stain on the sheet, i immediately got the cleaner who was outside my room to come and change which she did straight away and when i showed her the dirty carpet she said it was normal as they don't have much time to clean properly. I then got in the elevator to go downstairs to reception and it was filthy and full of rubbish, i explained to the reception and duty manager about my dirty room and the blood stain and they just shrugged their shoulders and said 'the sheet was changed' what else do you require? which i thought was very unprofessional but i put it down to the fact i refused the deposit and they were sulking about that. The noise in the room from the elevator is very bad and goes on 24 hours with clanging and banging. I ordered room service one night and when it came they had added nearly 100 Baht extra for multiple taxes and they said it is noted on the back of the menu at the bottom which it is in tiny letters i could not read , this should be on the front of menu and highlighted. Again when i went to reception to complain about this the girl had a very bad attitude and when i asked for the general managers name and contact to complain about the rude staff and the poor service i had experienced she refused and said i could google it! Very unprofessional staff at the front desk and the duty manager was the worst of them all.

Regarding the location, the hotel is centrally situated near BTS Nana, with easy access to public transport, shopping areas, restaurants, and nightlife venues. Activity outside the hotel premises is public and beyond the hotel’s control. When traveling overseas, it is important for travelers to familiarize themselves with the surrounding area in advance to ensure the chosen property aligns with their personal preferences and expectations, thereby avoiding disappointment after arrival. Any establishment can provide clear information about the facilities and services offered, and the property address is transparently stated in advance. Assessing the surrounding area based on personal preferences is part of an individual traveler’s decision-making process. At check-in, a standard security deposit of THB 2,000 ( 1000THB per night) was requested in line with hotel policy applicable to all guests. As an exception and to accommodate your refusal, the minibar was removed from the room so that no deposit was required. The security deposit serves as a guarantee for the use of room service or other chargeable hotel services at the guest’s convenience and is fully refundable when not utilized. This policy applies to all guests and also allows our team to connect with guests at departure to ensure their stay was satisfactory. We can assure you that this practice is standard across most hotels in Thailand. Concerning housekeeping, no concerns regarding room cleanliness were reported to our team on the day of your arrival or throughout your stay. The image shared in the review appears to be from the sofa area, which we have noted and addressed as part of our continuous improvement efforts. On 8 December, a Do Not Disturb sign was displayed for most of the day; our team went to check many times and respected your privacy, therefore left a service card should you require assistance, though no follow-up request was received. Regarding In-Room Dining, menu prices are clearly stated as subject to applicable tax and service charge, in line with brand standards and government regulations in Thailand. This information is shown on the menu and can be reviewed prior to ordering. Despite this, the charge was disputed after the food had already been prepared. As our kind consideration, the order was cancelled, and the hotel absorbed the full cost of the prepared food. Our records also note that during interactions with the Duty Manager, you raised your voice, used inappropriate foul language, and stated your intention to post negative reviews across platforms. Despite this, our team remained professional and offered assistance, including arranging a meeting with management the following day. Unfortunately, you departed early in the morning without further discussion. We regret that we were not given the opportunity to address these concerns constructively during your stay. While we welcome fair and factual feedback, we must respectfully disagree with claims that do not reflect the full context or the professional conduct of our team. Sincerely, Hotel Management

🌟 Gold stars for My Favorite Thai Hotel: A Fantastic First Stay and Culinary Experience! This was my first stay at the Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, and I immediately understood why my husband calls it his "home away from home". I had the most wonderful experience! Exceptional Service and Comfort The entire hotel staff is exceptional. Like my husband, I feel the management team—including General Manager Khun Raphael, Hotel Manager Khun Vikrant, and Room Division Manager Khun Ratna—along with Front Office Manager Khun Nan (Nancy) and all the duty managers, deserve a ten-star rating for their excellent care. The restaurant and housekeeping staff also provided attentive, respectful, and professional service. I especially loved the morning service at the Food Exchange, where the hostess, Khun Dear, and the other cheerful assistants made every coffee run a delight. The entire hotel team truly looks after their guests. A Special Culinary Highlight The highlight of my stay was definitely the cooking course! I truly enjoyed every moment of it. * Master Chef Tony did a wonderful, wonderful job with the class, and I really appreciated him explaining all the details of the dishes. * A very special thank you also goes to Chef Rosrin for her wonderful assistance during the class. Thank you to the entire team at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 for making my first stay and my cooking class such a memorable and enjoyable experience! Another very special mention a few minutes walk from the hotel at the end of Soi 4 is a great park called Bentakite park (something like that) and if you turn left at the park entrance you come to an amazing lake
