I have mobility issues but can usually manage with grab rails in the bathroom rather than a completely accessible room. However, I use a shower chair at home. I discovered that our room had no grab rails and the floor in the shower was extremely slippery. I wanted to change to an accessible room but there isn't one at this property. Considering the size of the property I would have expected at least one, if not more accessible rooms. Simply not good enough. The food in the Bistro was expensive for what you got. Our dairy industry is in crisis yet they serve foreing butter. Breakfast eggs were not only the tiniest eggs you could find but were rubbery and served on a huge piece of sourdough. If you must use the cheapest eggs on the market at least serve them on a slice ciabatta rather than that huge piece of sourdough that you need a chain saw to cut. Only two disabled car parking spaces in the car park and one was occupied for the whole week by a car that had no permit. Looked like it hadn't been moved all week. I watche done woman struggle to get in and out of her car in a normal space because she couldn't access the disabled car park due to this tiny car which would not have needed the extra space afforded by the disabled space. Staff didn't care.

The room was very large and spacious, and immaculately clean... bed was comfortable unsure on pillows as we always take our own. Would've been good to of had Netflix etc. I slept really well though hubby didn't as the heating system turning on and off kept him awake. He searched for a remote but couldn't find one , in the morning he noticed the control pad next to the entry door. Loved that you could only reach accommodation levels by using key card. Emily on reception was friendly.

We wasted out time so you don’t have to.

We had high hopes for these guys tonight cause their menu looked impressive.. But for me to have to ask to have my order taken after waiting 25 minutes, then having to wait another half hour to find someone to check on our order only to tell us the docket was lost is just BS. Don't even lie, it was never entered in the first place! You would think that someone would have checked on us after seeing us sitting there with no food or drink for so long but nope! Nothing. So stay away and don't even bother with this place. It wasn't even a busy service!

Visited this hotel for 5 days second week of April, the check in was a bit vague with the reception laying more attention to the guest trying to get money to play the pokies than the actual check in process. Hence I wasn’t really indicated where the room was or how to head up to the elevators or presented with any of the other facilities of the hotel, until I asked of course. No complaints as the receptionist was adequate to the standard of the Australian hospitality service. Room was quite on the second floor and spacious but bed wasn’t very comfortable. Also the showers lack water pressure but this is very subjective. The restaurants are okay and they offer a variety of meals nevertheless no buffet breakfast but there are plenty of choices around the area too thst you can Uber in. The reason it gets 4 stars for me it’s because of the location which is convenient for me and it has the facilities I require during business travel. Overall a nice hotel and the rooms were dressed every day which is also a plus on this lack of service environment we live in today. Oh it also has free parking and I didn’t find it too noisy as other people have complained about.

Passei alguns dias em Melbourne com minha esposa e filha pequena (4 anos) no Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs e gostamos muito do hotel e instalações. A localização não é central (25 minutos de carro do CBD), mas para quem está de carro ajuda a não ter que enfrentar o trânsito da região central para fazer os passeios próximos a Melbourne (Yarra Valley e Great Ocean Road por exemplo). O hotel fica numa vizinhança muito bonita, em frente a um lago com instalações de lazer e de exercícios. Os quartos são novos e espaçosos e fizemos a opção pela suíte com cozinha completa, o que provou ser muito interessante. Os funcionários foram prestativos conosco e com os nossos pedidos. O único ponto que chamou a atenção foi o fato do alarme de incêndio ter sido acionado 2 vezes durante nossa estadia e entendo que é algo que a gerência do hotel poderá estudar melhorias na estrutura do hotel para evitar maiores transtornos e atender melhor o público.
