Als wir bei diesem Hotel ankamen, waren wir total schockiert und ich war sauer auf meinen Mann, der das Hotel ausgewählt hatte. Es befindet sich in einem Kinderkrankenhaus, wo man die ganze Zeit kleine (arme, kranke) Kinder aus und ein gehen sieht, was einem das Herz bricht. Dieses Hotel ist perfekt für Eltern geeignet, deren Kinder gerade dort im Krankenhaus stationär behandelt werden. Es ist aber absolut ungeeignet für kinderlose Paare, die für Sightseeing nach Melbourne kommen, weil es auch viel zu weit von der Innenstadt entfernt ist. Vor der Unterkunft fährt eine Tram in Richtung Innenstadt, für die man erst mal eine wiederaufladbare Karte im "7 Eleven" erwerben muss. Der nächste Laden ist aber fußläufig zu weit weg und preislich lohnt sich diese Karte nicht, wenn man nur für eine kurze Zeit in Melbourne ist. Also nahmen wir uns jedes Mal ein Uber, um in die Stadt und zurück zum Hotel zu kommen. Zum Frühstück konnten wir uns etwas von einer Karte aussuchen, aber die Auswahl war total seltsam. Deshalb bekamen wir auf Nachfrage etwas ganz anderes (ein Nutella-Croissant und ein Pistazien-Gebäck, die es beide nicht auf der offiziellen Frühstückskarte gegeben hätte). Unser Zimmer erfüllte den Zweck, aber es zeigte auf den Krankenhaus-Kindergarten, wo man den ganzen Tag Kinderlärm hörte. Wir haben nichts gegen Kinder (bin selbst Lehrerin), aber wir waren einfach die falsche Zielgruppe für dieses Hotel und haben uns nicht ordentlich im Vorfeld darüber erkundigt. Allein die Tatsache, dass wir von lauter kranken Kindern umgeben waren, versetzte mich in eine negative, traurige, mitfühlende Grundstimmung und ließ keine Couple-Romantik aufkommen. Den Kindern wünsche ich alles Liebe und eine gute Genesung! ❤

While we are not in the immediate city centre, we are well-connected by public transport, and the tram directly outside our property offers convenient access to key Melbourne attractions. We understand that navigating public transport in a new city—especially with our transport card system—can be confusing, and we are always happy to provide guidance at reception to help guests make the most of their visit. Regarding breakfast, we apologise if the menu did not align with your expectations. Our breakfast offering is designed to change frequently, featuring a rotating selection of local pastries and seasonal items. We are always happy to accommodate requests where possible, and we are glad the team was able to provide alternative options for you. As for the noise from the park and kindergarten nearby, we are sorry this disrupted your stay. Had we known at the time, we would have been more than happy to move you to a higher floor or a quieter room, and we encourage all our guests to reach out to reception for any comfort concerns during their stay. Finally, we completely understand that choosing the right accommodation is an important part of planning any trip. Each guest’s expectations and travel purpose are different, and a little extra research can certainly help align those needs with the experience offered. Great location with easy access to public transport. Very close to the zoo & a short tram ride into the city hub. Comfortable rooms of a good size. The Farmacy had great coffee & good food.

We had a wonderful stay at The Larwill Studio. 8 nights and each one was brilliant! Everything from start to finish was great, from their comfortable and spacious rooms to their accomodating and professional team. We enjoyed close proximity to the city and Queen Victoria Market. We also liked being so close to the park. The Farmacy restaurant downstairs was good for when we didn’t feel like going out to town for a meal. Again, wonderful team. We’d highly recommend The Larwill Studio to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in Melbourne.

Deludente. Su 4 giorni per ben due volte la mia camera non è stata pulita. La prima volta me ne sono accorta nel pomeriggio e nonostante abbia avvisato subito la reception, quando sono rientrata la sera la mia camera era rimasta eattamente come prima, cioè non era stata pulita. La seconda volta me ne sono accorta al rientro di notte dopo un'intera giornata passata fuori: l'ultima cosa che vorretsi trovare dopo una giornata stancante! E al check-out hanno anche avuto il coraggio di chiedermi di pagare le due bottiglie d'acqua del mini-bar!

Hotel muito descolado em Melbourne. A decoração dos quartos é fantástica! O hotel fica ao lado do hospital da criança e no conjunto de prédios há um McDonalds e uma lanchonete que serve café da manhã. Os atendendes são super prestativos. Na recepção é possível comprar o Myki Card (passe para utilizar os trams). O único ponto desfavorável do hotel é a localização. Ele fica um pouco afastado da zona central (está fora da Free Tram Zone) e o também está fora do free transfer do Skybus (do terminal do Skybus até o hotel, o taxi sai AUD 10). Por outro lado é uma boa oportunidade para conhecer uma outra parte da cidade. Além disso o hotel fica ao lado de um belo parque e próximo ao zoológico de Melbourne.
