Shockingly bad experience, did not expect this level of service in a Pullman hotel!

Exhausted and super disappointed! Arrived at 12:30 am, check in was quick as I was the only one. Was not informed and given a room with handicap facility which I am very uncomfortable with, I was expecting a bath tub – that was the reason why I booked this hotel knowing I will be so tired when I arrive tonight. Called reception and requested to change to another room, RAPHAEL (this guy is with serious attitude problem which he really should not work in the service industry pls! Shocking bad!) at the reception told me the hotel is fully booked due to there is a trade fair happening “right now”. But knowing that trade fair Masion et Object finished YESTERDAY, I went on line and see if there are still room available, and of course there is. So I went down to the reception again to ask RAPHAEL to kindly check again if there are any room I can change to, as the hotel is clearly not fully booked tonight. He then told me the type of room I paid for is fully booked but they have OTHER types of rooms available. So I asked to pay more and have an upgrade. RAPHAEL then told me “because YOU booked through hotel.com we cannot upgrade for you even if you want to pay, there is nothing we can do for you for your booking, or you can pay for another room if you really want to change to another room”. I was not asking for much, I know Pullman is just a business hotel and I should not expect much, even the hotel.com booking is not flexible I can understand that, but having treated the way I was treated as a customer…. It’s a bit too much, it’s not right! The whole experience was very unpleasant, there are no basic courtesy from the reception to a customer. By the way there is no hot food in room service after 12 am, only ONE salad if you are hungry, I needed to go next door to ibis style and got myself some hot soup and food. Yes even ibis is better, the staffs there were friendly and helpful. Pullman CDG Service is so bad up to a point you cannot believe it! Maybe its just that one RAPHAEL but that pull down the impression of the while hotel!

We had a mid morning international flight so wanted to stay as close as possible to the airport. The complimentary VAL CDG tram was literally across from the hotel. The international flights were in Terminal 2 and it took less than 10 minutes to arrive there. There were many signs to help a person head the correct direction. We booked a room with a king size bed and a pullout sofa for our daughter. We arrived at midnight on a late flight and assumed the sofa bed would be made up…wrong. We had to go downstairs to ask for bedding and then make up the bed The 2 rooms were quite large but it was odd and very inconvenient that the toilet was not in the main bedroom but in the living room where the sofa bed was. We booked through Expedia so the breakfast buffet was complimentary. We were pleasantly surprised that it was above average. The best part of the hotel was definitely the location.

A business hotel with the usual features one can expect. A big plus was the very spacious swimming pool and the steam sauna! The breakfast buffet was complete and very nice. What surprised me was that the rooms felt old and not very inspiering. The carpet in my room (401) had alot of stains and did not look very inviting to spend time on. Let's hope it gets replaced soon.

CDG has several hotels that are on the free train that goes around the airport. We booked this hotel for an overnight layover and it worked very well. Thank you to another trip advisor reviewer for providing directions. It is convenient to get there if you know how to navigate the humongous CDG airport. Follow signs to all trains and then follow signs to CDG Val (sometimes signs point to blue train). Do not go into any train gate that requires payment because that is the wrong train. CDG Val goes to various terminals and to Roissypole. Get off at Roissypole where you will find the Pullman as well as a couple of other hotels. Pullman’s restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room had several features for international travelers, including many types of electrical outlets. The lights and shower were over-engineered and a challenge to figure out but very nice once we got the idea.
Nice yes, worth the price no.

Wonderful place? On the surface yes. Room nice enough but small for the price. Bed was good and big as well. Unfortunately not fitted sheets and too small so only fitted by few cm. Woke during night to find sheets all ricked up round feet. Bit poor of tv. Very limited language channels and cannot cast to tv? Restaurant was supposedly full so we ate at bar. 28euro for a burger. For that price I expect excellence. Verg average. Only 20% of tables in restaurant occupied. Just staff shortage. All in all a 5* hotel that charges 5*+ prices and just isn't.
