Very nice hotel but a little expensive. Was very convenient as we were going on an Avalon river cruise the next day and the hotel is the meeting place for passengers. Wonderful included breakfast buffet.

First off, let me say the hotel has *some* positives. For Paris the rooms are quite large, and the A/C works well. The beds are fine, although I found I slept very hot in the beds. The hotel checks many boxes for amenities. I'll start off by saying that I found out the hotel is scheduled to close at the end of August for 3 years. They have already told the staff, and many of the staff that were capable of finding new jobs have already left. Many of the staff right now are temporary workers who clearly don't care. I had a slew of issues during my stay, and the staff simply didn't seem to care. First, I booked a room that supposedly had a bidet in the bathroom. There was no bidet. I didn't care much, but it's unfortunate that their rooms don't even have the amenities advertised. I also found when I reached my room that that there were no coffee pods for the Nespresso machine (btw, you have to pay more for a room with a Nespresso machine), although they had left the used pods from the previous occupant. There was also a light out in my bathroom, and the mini-bar was warm. My mini-bar also only had a few items in it, despite a price list for many more sitting nearby. I brought all of these items to the attention of the front desk on my first day. I was informed that they no longer stock most items in the mini-bar. They replaced the lightbulb and brought me one pod of Nespresso. Yes, just one pod, and I was staying 5 days. When I returned from dinner that evening, the mini-bar was still broken. No word from the hotel on what the issue was. So the next day before heading out I asked them once again to fix the mini-fridge as I had food I needed to keep cool. That night, again, no communication and no fix. I asked again on the third day, emphasizing that this was not acceptable. No change. Finally, on my 4th day I spoke to a manager who got it changed out. The concierge was rude when we tried to ask for a map. Service in the hotel bar was nearly non-existent. There are ice machines on a few floors, but the hotel staff couldn't even tell us which floors. Other folks in our corporate group faced similar issues. One person arrived to a room that had not been cleaned. Many drains were clogged in both sinks and showers. Some rooms were missing the kettles for coffee/tea, and others were missing the iron and ironing board. Pretty much a mess.

The iron in my room had the finish on iron surface worn off. Although, I did not notice until it was too late. As a result, when I used iron, the iron immediately stuck to my pants and melted them and thereby ruined them.

Hotel location is great, next to metro stations and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The front desk and housekeeping teams did an excellent job attending to our special needs. Maeva and juliette at the front desk were great.

For an international brand was disappointed that the gym didn't open till 7am in the mrng. Most mrngs I was leaving the hotel at this time. The house keeping didn't replace the coffe/ nespresso kits, had to be requested every day... this is the only Accor hotel in my experience to have this issue. Service in general was poor. I'm very loyal to Accor properties so will choose another Accor next time but not this one. Sorry guys..... but the only good service I got was from the bar staff... excellent

Great location at Montparnasse Station. You can get anywhere in the city with ease. Hotel has all amenities and is great value for money. I would recommend for families or friends on a getaway. I'll stay here my next time in Paris.

This was my second stay at the Pullman Montparnasse. It was a very enjoyable short break (three days). I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly throughout, at Reception, in the bar, in the Café Atlantic (where I had one dinner) and in the Platinum restaurant (where I had breakfast). My bedroom and bathroom were modern and comfortable. I was particularly impressed by the view of Sacre Coeur from my bedroom!

Excellent property with very helpful staff. After an all nite flight arriving at the front desk at 8AM allowed to check in early. The breakfast included with my room rate was also excellent. The room was very quiet and equipped.

The location is very good, so it was highly accessible. From the greeting of the staffs when we arrived they are helpful, welcoming. Room cleaning was good but everyday one of amenity was missing one by one. there were disposable paper cups in the room but how about changing to different ones? the beds were so comfortable and cozy. I had breakfast everyday in the Platinum. I hope the menu of the morning changes.

I arranged a couple of nights in Paris as a surprise 50th birthday gift to my wife. Travelled from Worcestershire UK to Euston by train . 15 min walk to Eurostar at St.Pancras and Metro line 4 from Gare du Nord to Gare Montparnasse ( 20 mins ) . All very smooth . No sooner had we checked in and found our chambre , room service delivered a pre-ordered bottle of champagne and we sipped this while taking in the dazzling view looking north towards the Sacre Coeur from our level 24 window - a really magical and memorable moment for both of us. The hotel is superb . Could not fault it in any way. It was great for the following two days to return from sight-seeing and just gaze at the view. Loads of restaurants locally in Montparnasse ( a theatre district and home to artists since the twenties ). We only ate at the hotel for breakfast which was excellent. Drank in the bar on one occasion - nice atmosphere. Check out was hassle free ( I had pre-paid online ). A very memorable weekend in a superb hotel. We highly recommend.

Disapointed twice!

Disapointed twice... Being a gold client on the loyalty program, and received an upgrade to forget about the first disapointment, but the upgrade turned out bad as well... Arrived on a sunday night from London at 11h30 pm. Room was fully prepaid in advance. Once we checked in, we were also informed that we were upgraded and we got our cards to get into the room. Once arrived, we were surprised that the room 2445 was occupied... We went back to the receiption and informed them, they went back with us to check. After knocking on the door, an angry voice was heard from inside the room... A bit normal at 11h45 pm We went again at the reception, and they informed us that they don't understand why the room is empty for us but it is occupied... They finally told us to wait so they give us another room, and we got the 2425.... We are a couple of 35 years old, but we got a room specially made for disable elderly people. With all my respect to the elderly people, we were unable to sleep all the night due to the bed wich is covered with a kind of diapers under the bed sheet that protect the mattress and that takes curvy under your body when you sleep... We were so tired that we did not call the reception since it was midnight... The second day, when we left, they did not even excuse for what happenned, they said that there is a 40 Euros remaining having in mind that the room was prepaid fully from their website. I have sent a mail to the lady who informed us of the upgrade and who wished to make us forget the first disapointment but no rely or feedback since 4 days... Personnaly, I was really disapointed of the way we were treated that night. And i don't believe that all the Pullman brands has deteriorated this way. But for sure there is something going wrong in the management of the rooms... I believe that if you want Pullman, go for the Champ Elysee...

After our commute from London to Paris using Eurostar, we turned up at Pullman Montparnasse looking forward to our 4 night stay. On contrary to a relaxing and comfortable stay, ours turned out to be unexpectedly eventful. First, we waited 15 mins before we were served. Then, on completing the paperwork, instead of pre-authorisation of $300 they charged me $300. This was immediately refunded. For some reason, they made the same mistake AGAIN. At the end of the day, we were charged and refunded $600 dollars leading to unnecessary time wasted and plentiful bank charges. Altogether, the check in process took 30 mins. We found it absolutely disappointing and inappropriate for the staff to make such mistakes. We were compensated with complimentary breakfast vouchers but balancing the time taken to deal with the bank to reverse the additional bank/commission/overseas credit card charges from Pullman's silly mistake, it was not very worthwhile. Then, the next morning, we were surprised to be woken up by the housekeeping staff at 0800 sharp. Although we did not put the DND sign up the night before, isn't it common sense to housekeep at more reasonable hours when guests are not in their rooms? The coffee/tea box was not always refilled. It was also very surprising to find paper cups used as a mean for guests to make hot drinks in their rooms at the Pullman Montparnasse. Albeit the shortcomings, the rooms were okay and the room views were pleasant. Unfortunately, our experience at the Pullman Montparnasse was one of the poorest and certainly not what we were expecting. We do hope that our comments will be taken into account as we see many areas that can be improved.

We enjoyed our stay with the Pullman but were disappointed with the breakfast. one morning one the coffee machines wasn't working and there was a huge queue at the other. We found we were in reach of attractions that we wanted to go too.

Breakfast (and the bar) are outrageously expensive. I can't speak for other food services. I would advise booking a room without breakfast included and eating at one of the many nearby cafes. Furthermore, their check-in policies are inconsistent. I was required to approve a 300 Euro credit card charge for possible incidental charges (in addition to placing my credit card info on file). At check-out, the full amount was refunded - and the person handling that transaction acted as if they'd never seen such a thing before, nor was anyone else in our group required to do that. (For the record, I'm an older, single lady who booked and paid for my room a year in advance - not someone who might pose a risk for them not being paid.)

We were missing fish and champagne on the breakfast buffé. The hotel location was excellent close to city center and its attraktions. We have an excellent view of the city from our room. We will return.

I'd have to say everything about this hotel is good, but not great - location, food, value etc. The room we had was small but adequate but the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the service was good. Do not fall for the house breakfast - while it's a full breakfast buffet, it's not worth the 26 euros they charge. There are plenty of very nice restaurant options within easy walking distance of the hotel. Likewise for the bar which is greatly overpriced - you can get the same drink a few steps from the hotel for 5-8 euros less. The lobby is in need of an update - really shopworn and watch out for those low iron cocktail tables - easily prone to shin bumps and toe stubs. We also thought they were very stingy with bath soaps - a quarter size piece of soap is not much to work with. I'm sure I could have asked for me, but why should I have to.
