Very nice hotel but a little expensive. Was very convenient as we were going on an Avalon river cruise the next day and the hotel is the meeting place for passengers. Wonderful included breakfast buffet.
Hotel is not as advertised, and staff doesn't care

First off, let me say the hotel has *some* positives. For Paris the rooms are quite large, and the A/C works well. The beds are fine, although I found I slept very hot in the beds. The hotel checks many boxes for amenities. I'll start off by saying that I found out the hotel is scheduled to close at the end of August for 3 years. They have already told the staff, and many of the staff that were capable of finding new jobs have already left. Many of the staff right now are temporary workers who clearly don't care. I had a slew of issues during my stay, and the staff simply didn't seem to care. First, I booked a room that supposedly had a bidet in the bathroom. There was no bidet. I didn't care much, but it's unfortunate that their rooms don't even have the amenities advertised. I also found when I reached my room that that there were no coffee pods for the Nespresso machine (btw, you have to pay more for a room with a Nespresso machine), although they had left the used pods from the previous occupant. There was also a light out in my bathroom, and the mini-bar was warm. My mini-bar also only had a few items in it, despite a price list for many more sitting nearby. I brought all of these items to the attention of the front desk on my first day. I was informed that they no longer stock most items in the mini-bar. They replaced the lightbulb and brought me one pod of Nespresso. Yes, just one pod, and I was staying 5 days. When I returned from dinner that evening, the mini-bar was still broken. No word from the hotel on what the issue was. So the next day before heading out I asked them once again to fix the mini-fridge as I had food I needed to keep cool. That night, again, no communication and no fix. I asked again on the third day, emphasizing that this was not acceptable. No change. Finally, on my 4th day I spoke to a manager who got it changed out. The concierge was rude when we tried to ask for a map. Service in the hotel bar was nearly non-existent. There are ice machines on a few floors, but the hotel staff couldn't even tell us which floors. Other folks in our corporate group faced similar issues. One person arrived to a room that had not been cleaned. Many drains were clogged in both sinks and showers. Some rooms were missing the kettles for coffee/tea, and others were missing the iron and ironing board. Pretty much a mess.

The iron in my room had the finish on iron surface worn off. Although, I did not notice until it was too late. As a result, when I used iron, the iron immediately stuck to my pants and melted them and thereby ruined them.

Hotel location is great, next to metro stations and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The front desk and housekeeping teams did an excellent job attending to our special needs. Maeva and juliette at the front desk were great.

For an international brand was disappointed that the gym didn't open till 7am in the mrng. Most mrngs I was leaving the hotel at this time. The house keeping didn't replace the coffe/ nespresso kits, had to be requested every day... this is the only Accor hotel in my experience to have this issue. Service in general was poor. I'm very loyal to Accor properties so will choose another Accor next time but not this one. Sorry guys..... but the only good service I got was from the bar staff... excellent
