Couples First Weekend in Paris

This is a great location for a couples Christmas weekend in Paris! We stayed here for our first tourist experience of Paris for 3 nights, leaving feeling extremely content with the hotel choice we had made. All for the following reasons: 1. The hotel itself has a beautiful entrance, with its elegance continuing throughout the whole hotel. This was helped by the clean nature and very helpful staff to support in any way possible. (Picture Attached). 2. The location was perfect for us as one of the main train stations & Metro was a maximum 5 minute walk. This helped our journey on our 1st day as we visited Disney Land Paris- A MUST DO! The train journey was approximately 1 hour, with the concierge being incredibly supportive to help buy the correct tickets for the Metro (App Called “BONJOUR RATP”). On the 2nd day we visited the very centre of Paris, only taking 30 minutes to get to the closest Hop On & Off Bus stop by the river. 3. The Room was more than we could have asked for, with a large bathroom, a Queen sized bed and a view of the Paris lights outside our window (We were on the 19th floor)- Picture Attached). 4. The Breakfast was really good in its selection, with lots of options of Continental & Full English available. The Coffees, Juices, Pastries were very tasty. The only downside was that the food could have been hotter, particularly the Pancakes. Recommended Experiences: 1. The Eiffel Tower Tour- If you are going to visit the Eiffel Tower anyway, definitely book a private tour as we seemed to get a premium experience, which got us into the priority line ahead of the long queues. We used “Get Your Guide”- With the provider using “Crown Tours”. Allow for 2 hours for this activity, as once you are at the 2nd floor & top, you can spend as much time as you would like up there. (Picture Attached). 2. Big Bus Tour- Once you get to the closest stop, the buses run every 15 minutes from each stop. Although it was busy, it was a great way to see all of the main tourist parts of Paris with the top deck open to see the sights. 3. River Cruise Tour- Another great way to see more of Paris (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame). We used the “Get Your Guide” website to book this with the Eiffel Tour experience above. This took approximately 1hr 30 to queue and complete the tour. Prepare for lots of waves from the very friendly people watching the boats glide down the river! (Picture Attached). Overall, we would very much recommend Paris and more specifically the Pullman Montparnasse–Bienvenüe hotel. Thank you for the visit.

This hotel is set away from the attactions. However, it is easily walkable. About 3 Km's from the Effifel Tower. Walked it at night and it was very safe. Hotel is close to public transportation as well. Rooms were nice and breakfast spread had everything you would want. Get there early to avoid the chaos. There's a Sky Deck Bar up top, but it was $25EUR just to get in. The few people I saw going up the private elevator to get there were dressed very nicely. Location works espeically as pricing seemed affordable.

Lovely hotel, has a big lobby and an outside bar. Lidl is a 2 minute walk away, just across the road. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Has air conditioning, shower was decent. TV does work! Had a great experience would recommend.

Think twice because of staff attitude

Stayed for 2 nights already and came down for the extention of 3rd night with Maurine receiption staff when she showed me the invoice for 2 nights saw the breakfast was charged for 2 nights as well and asked he to remove cos only had 1 breakfast but with attitude she argued said that i did sign for 2 days breakfast and to removed it made her a lot od work. Isnt she hired for guest assistance? She has no custome oriented and not suitable as a front liner. But i will give two thumbs up fot the housekeeping

Overall very nice hotel. The room was large, and we were upgraded to a king size room, which was great. The breakfast buffet was amazing! We LOVED that. The elevators take a little getting used to but are fine. The staff were very nice. As others have noted, the location isn't great in that you are a ways away from most things in Paris. But the Metro is close so it's easy to get places, or can use Uber or Bolt. I wish there was more "casual" dining options in the hotel - just the Umami burger place which has a very small menu - that would be my only complaint.
