⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at Our stay at Sofitel Sanya was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations in every way. The resort is beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained, and feels like a complete destination rather than just a hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. They truly go out of their way to make everything happen for their guests, always with a smile. A special and sincere thank you to Victor, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our New Year’s celebration unforgettable. He personally arranged a special table on the beach for New Year’s Eve, creating a memorable and meaningful experience for our family that we will never forget. We were also very grateful for the thoughtful room arrangements and upgrades. My wife and I stayed in a spacious and elegant suite, while our children were initially accommodated in a king room and later upgraded to a family room. The comfort, cleanliness, and layout were perfect for a family stay. The food was beyond expectations, with excellent quality, variety, and presentation across all dining options. The service throughout the resort was outstanding, and the daily activities, kids’ programs, and evening entertainment made the experience even more enjoyable. This is truly one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. The combination of outstanding service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality makes Sofitel Sanya stand out. Highly recommended, and we very much look forward to returning.

Wonderful stay in Hainan

방에 들어서는 순간 바다뷰가 정말 멋져요. 인테리어는 모던하고 방에서 좋은 향기가 나요. 저녁쇼도 볼만하고 여기저기 수영장 다니느라 지루하지가 않네요. 직원들도 소통이 잘되고 친절해서 또 다시 오고 싶어요. [ Room & View ] I stayed in the Imperial Suite. Beautiful sea view made me smile. Although it's a bit far from the sea, just looking at it lifts my spirits. The bedroom and living room are separated, the room is very spacious. It feels newly built, very clean, and there's a pleasant fragrance as soon as I enter. Extremely satisfied with the room condition! [ Food ] The breakfast quality was the best. The interior of restauran is modern, and there is a wide variety of food. I really wanted to try the dinner buffet, but my stay was only one night, so I couldn't. The buffet had a variety of seafood and the chinese reataurant had a very nice vibe. [ Service ] Special thanks to the team!. Their kindness make this a memorable trip. From the room decoration to the small fireworks on the beach, we was deeply touched.

Not worth the price for executive-level guests until they introduce proper adults-only areas, improve Club Millesime

After recently staying at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich, where the Club Millesime service was exceptional, my experience at Sofitel Leeman Sanya was disappointing. Despite booking the same category with Club Millesime access, the difference in quality was unacceptable. The Club Millesime lounge in Sanya was subpar in service, food quality and atmosphere. There was no sense of exclusivity, with constant noise and no tranquility for executive guests. Compared to Guangzhou, where everything was refined, Sanya's offering felt disorganized and cheap. Noise was a constant problem - from lawnmowers and gardening equipment to screaming children. The beachfront pool was slightly better but still affected by maintenance noise. The breakfast restaurant, while large, turned into complete chaos after 9 AM with no adults-only section available. Communication was difficult as most reception staff spoke very little English, which is unacceptable for an international brand. Only one helpful young man with glasses provided great assistance. I also encountered an insect problem in room 1155, with suspicious bites that didn't seem to be from mosquitoes. The hygiene situation should be checked. The hotel is completely oriented toward families with small children, offering nothing for couples or solo travelers. Sofitel Guangzhou proved it's possible to balance family and adult needs - why can't Sanya do the same? That being said, the hotel itself is beautiful with nice rooms and a wonderful location. Hainan truly resembles Hawaii where I've also been, and has great potential for international tourism. But it needs to adapt to all types of guests. I believe even Chinese guests traveling as couples or solo are often disappointed. Final verdict: Not worth the price for executive-level guests until they introduce proper adults-only areas, improve Club Millesime service, train staff in English, and address hygiene issues. The potential is there, but major improvements are needed.

Short gateway and choosen this hotel as our vacation ! The hotel is huge and beautiful ! The moments when step out from the taxi, a warm greeting from the local dancing and also thanks to Frances for all the introduction of this beautiful hotel and arrange a nice room for us ! The hospitality was amazing and the breakfast is good! A lot of variety ! Big swimming pool and recommended to come !

I had an wonderful stay at Sofitel Sanya, room and hotel facilities were amazing. I would like to specially mention the hotel employee- Anna!! Upon the check in, i was greeted by Anna  who’s beaming smile helped wave away the tiredness and grumpiness that the travel generates. having travelled globally and stayed in many hotels it was rare and appreciated to be accompanied at the lobby to give a quick run down of the facilities at the hotel, especially the kid’s programs that hotel has to offer.  Other than that, we were so touched by her attentiveness and personalise service during our stay. Her sweet messages in the morning definitely made our day worth. Last but not least, Anna is an asset of the hotel and definitely deserves a recognition of contributing a great customer service of the hotel.
