Wonderful Stay with Butler Service

It was a fantastic experience staying at Raffles Hainan Clear Water Bay. The receptionist was very professional and we were extremely well welcomed upon arrival. Right at the time we arrived, there was singing in the art space. The piano playing was very soothing and an additional song was sung to celebrate Mid-autumn festival. The room was very big with an ocean view. The resort had a lot to explore. Our butler Andy was very helpful throughout the whole stay. He managed to respond to our request in a timely manner.

An Amazing Experience in Raffles Lingshui

First time staying at the Raffles here in Lingshui. A huge thank you to our butler Chloe for taking such good care of my family and for arranging a room upgrade—she was so warm and welcoming! The room offered stunning ocean views, and the scenery was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to the entire team for their efforts in making this a wonderful holiday for me and my family.

This hotel, the people, the food, the service, location - I’ve never been to a more perfect place. I say perfect because there’s not a single thing to complain about. And I say this as a foreigner - who doesn’t speak a word mandarin. I felt so well taken care off and my family as well. Miss Tina, our butler (as it’s called) was our guide and did everything to make us feel at ease. She booked our activities, she organized everything from a to z. And she did it with flair, very humble, not taking anything for granted. The rest of the team at Raffles were also great. We’re really sad to leave, but we will be back. The breakfast is really a show stopper with fresh lobster and pork dumplings and a la minute noodles, plus a long list of western foods. The beach bbq is very romantic and good.

A sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle

One of the filming place of the movie Lost in the stars Facilities Even though the resort is relatively old comparing with other resort in the region, the facilities are well maintained. However, one of the swimming pool is under the maintenance and cannot use and we only notified after we arrived the hotel. Better to let the guest know in advance as only kid pool available. Service The staff here are warm and willing to help. Many thanks to Kate, Tina and Tommy of Front Office team for helping us in this trip. The housekeeping service are also neat and quick. Breakfast The environment of the restaurant is nice and the food is okay which they can offer local food. Still, the breakfast quality and type of food is a little disappointing comparing with other luxury hotels. Beach Beach is well maintained and the quality of water and sand is nice. Transportation The resort offer shuttle bus for travelling between Lingshui and Sanya (including duty free shops and airport). Better utilise it and this will save your money and time. There also cars for guests to use for 24 hours inside the resort. Overall The location is relatively remote and good for vacation for those who do not have high demand of shopping. Will highly recommend for those who has high demand for beach and looking for real vacation. Very likely will come back again if I come Lingshui again and the experience is nice.
