Accor- terrible experience

Booked directly from Accor app, with non refundable rate. Found a cheaper rate in other websites, lower by more than 35%, which is huge amount considering the length of my stay for 10 days in the high season. I have filled the Best Rate Guarentee form, under the impression that Accor will fulfill their promise and match the price. It has been 4 days now, begging Accor to respond, they keep asking for screen shots and more details, instead of verifying the rate themselve. Eventually i received an email from them saying that they have sent a notification to the hotel to provide the best response!!!!! Two days the hotel is not responding. It seems Accor customer service is much lower in quality and support than other major hotel chains, I regret booking with them, and not able "so far" to cancel my reservation and get refund. Terrible experience, try to avoid.

As always I har another remarkable and memorable stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious with many varieties of food options. Thanks to Ms Sita and her team whom provided a great and wonderful services. I will come back to the hotel on my next visit to Phuket.

BEST EVER. 3rd time back it’s just fantastic, swim up room was so good! Breakfast is great loads of options and oatmeal was yummy.
