Stayed at this hotell for two nights, and I May say I'm little confused about this hotel. The location is close to the Zebrugge Center, but Zebrugge is not the place you going to spend your vacation, or unless the close proximity to the beaches is the reason. The hotel is wall to wall with a building site. No work when I stayed there.The area aroubd the hotel is a mess, and not pleasant at all. On the flip side, the hotel Room, was Nice and tidy. Had a really Nice bathroom, and good waterpressure in the shower. The reception is rather sterile, and didn't do anything to want you to stay there. No cosy area to sit down and chill with something to drink. Breakfast area served its purpose, but thats all. Food served nicely, but rather boring. I don't know the level of breakfast in Belgium, but I must say I was some dissapointed. Overall, Nice and friendly staff, suitable Room for a place to sleep for a night or two if you Are passing by, but not a place I would recommend for a vacation.

Very disappointing stay

Overpriced and terrible experience! Found black pubic hairs and long black hair in our beds. Complained 3 times about this. It was disgusting. When asking housekeeping lady why we have hairs in and on our beds she replied because the washing machines don’t clean properly. The lady at reception did apologise and gave us a complimentary breakfast. The last day we returned to our room and rubbish bin was not cleaned and balcony was not touched. Once again found hairs on the linen. Shower was also broken. Paying 250euro a night for 3 nights excluding breakfast a person would expect much better. Unfortunately due our experience we will never return to this hotel again.

Would not choose a top floor room next time

I stayed many times at this property in the past. I booked a 2 bedroom family suite and asked for high floor, pool view which I got. The top (5th) floor is partly in the roof and I had the impression that the suite was a little smaller than on the lower floors (I used to stay on the 4th floor). The kitchenette was reduced to a minimum, only a microwave. The terrace is bordered by a high wall which blocks part of the view. Otherwise the view was nice, facing the harbor with distant sea views. The bathroom is modern and very nice with quality furniture (Grohe, Villleroy & Boch,...). Unfortunately it looked as the cleaning was done some time before as there were dead flies everywhere on the floor and in the bath... Breakfast was reduced due to Covid but still enough items to choose from. Nice pool area but closed due to the bad weather...

Simply put this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life, and I have only been on the premises 2 hours and my mind is completely made up, the receptionist is among one of the most disrespectful people I have met in my life time. Never have I ever felt like this on somewhere that is close to €600 for 4 nights!!! I could write for hours about how dreadful this is but please do yourself the favour and go else where you will not regret it. Hopefully the staff are nicer elsewhere in Belgium but for me first impressions of the country are terrible !!!

Nice place but poor breakfast

Stayed here overnight with the family (spouse plus two young children). First outing since the lockdown began in March 2020. The hotel is in an industrial area with very little around in way of shops/restaurants. There is some major building works going on outside the hotel. The interior of the hotel is simple, spacious and clean. Check-in was ok. The receptionist was wearing a mask...around her neck! Nevertheless, the check-in was relatively quick. Our room was spacious. I went for a family room with two interconnecting rooms. It also had a balcony. Again, spacious and clean. I was disappointed that there was no coffee-making facilities, even though the room came with a kitchenette. Bathroom was clean, although one of our towels still had an old 'red' stain on it. Noteworthy was the quietness in the room. The road outside is busy with trucks; however they have done a very good job of insulating the room. In the morning, we went and had breakfast. There were another 4-5 guest there, with the tables nicely separated. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. While most of it was pre-packaged asa mitigation measure, the quality and variety was shockingly poor. And the worse part - I had to pay an extra 30 euros for it! I am very surprised that the hotel has decided to charge for breakfast, particularly if it is not the normal quantity or quality they would normally serve. The final note - check-out was very disappointing too. The receptionist seemed very uninterested but on the plus side, it was done very quickly. Sadly, in its current format, I would not return. It is currently does not offer value for money.
