We had visited day before yesterday. When we left the hotel we got a call from hotel for refund. The call was from no +44 20 7089 0400. The person said I had a refund and asked me about the credit details. And what I have been desired 81£. I again called to this number and they have taken lot of time and didn’t find who has called. There is no receipt or nothing. They could not find out but money has been deducted. It appear the admin of this hotel is also involved I this. I have emailed them. But no response. So posting here to be aware of the scam wing in Thetis hotel.

We stayed here (2 adults + 2 kids) for 4 nights and we highly recommend this hotel. Great location within walking distance to London's greatest attractions. Outstanding, very helpfull and empathic service - many thanks to Lili :). Our room was in excellent condition, modern with very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was nice and tasty in regards to quality and variety. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Went Fri 28/4 for drinks/food in bar area with friends. Been a few times before, never disappointed always nice vibe and friendly professional attentive staff. Nice decor. Great cocktails and nice food. Really good singer that night. Great meeting place in good location. Friends were happy.

Without question the worst afternoon tea we have had. Granted, this was part of a package/voucher for the View at the Shard so expectations weren't high. Although the voucher wasn't cheap! My partner is gluten free, we were worried initially as upon arrival we were informed there was an issue with the bread. He was offered bread rolls rather than sliced so not the end of the world. We were ushered around to what can only be described as an afternoon tea conveyor belt. It is not unpleasant but it is clearly set up to cater to these package deals. No drinks menu was offered, but they seemed to offer a good variety. Then they arrive... my initial reaction was to laugh. There were indeed two bread rolls as sandwiches for my GF partner. There were then two more bread rolls... as scone replacements. :/ In 2023, gluten free alternatives have moved on since 1970. Gf scones exist, as do many gf cakes. Alas instead of the three cake varieties adorning my tower. He was treated to one but they had generously provided two fruit kebabs... come on Novotel, I laughed initially but it's actually not very funny. Also, while we're on the subject please stop lumping in dairy intolerance with GF. Or at least ask, although I'm not sure clotted cream on a bread roll would work. Mine was no better. When I initially picked up a sandwich I thought they were perhaps toasted. No, just stale to the point of crusty. The scones were hard too from being left out, as were the cakes. Nobody came to check in with us and as we didn't buy the voucher I saw no point in complaining as its never to the right people. I will concede that as far as mine went I did see others arrive that looked fresh, perhaps I had been unlucky. But frankly the state of the GF option is pathetic. It is not hard to source good options, in central London of all places, and if you can't... don't offer it!

I have stayed at a few Novotel and this one was a very nice one: modern, well situated and efficient service. We stayed at a superior room with a convertible sofa so the space was quite limited. Other than that the room was well equipped (kettle, fridge w/ complimentary water, tea/coffee, hairdryer, bath amenities, big TV), clean and modern with a very nice bathroom. We stayed on the 2nd floor with not much of a view. The breakfast was very nice (quality/variety), even had some gluten free options. Drinks at the bar were very expensive (the hotel's bar/restaurant was expensive in general). Everyone at the reception desk was professional and polite (special mention to Carla who took the time to answer all of our emails :) ). The hotel is located very near (5m)Tate Modern, Shakespeare Globe theater and Borough Market. Tower bridge is also within walking distance (10m). There are at least 3 tube stations nearby (London Bridge, Southwark and Blackfriars) and a couple of bus stops also.
