Disappointing Stay

I stayed at Pullman Central Park Jakarta for a business trip and encountered one issue after another. Upon arrival, I was given a dirty room that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest, then left waiting over 20 minutes in the hallway with no assistance. The staff showed little warmth or urgency, and even when I was finally moved to a new room, no one offered help with my luggage. Service recovery felt insincere. The Duty Manager awkwardly asked if I “approved” of the compensation, rather than taking real ownership of the situation. An upgrade was only offered after I requested to change rooms again—something that should’ve been done proactively, not reactively. The situation worsened during my second room move. Despite confirming availability, they left me waiting another 30 minutes with no update. Then, without informing me, they moved my belongings—including my laptop—while I was out, which felt careless and unsafe. The room had poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear the guests next door shouting on the phone while I was trying to work. As someone who works in hospitality, this experience fell well below five-star expectations. Poor communication, delayed responses, and a lack of genuine care made this a stay I can't recommend.

What you described is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, and I’m truly sorry for the series of issues you encountered—from the unacceptable condition of your initial room, to the lack of responsiveness and care throughout your stay. Arriving to a dirty room and being left waiting without assistance is inexcusable, and I completely understand how this would set a negative tone for the rest of your stay. I also want to acknowledge your concerns regarding how the service recovery was handled. Our goal should always be to take full responsibility and offer sincere solutions without putting additional burden on the guest. It’s clear we fell short in this regard, and I’m sorry that our efforts did not feel genuine or proactive. The handling of your personal belongings, especially without prior notice, is deeply concerning. Your sense of privacy and security should never have been compromised, and I have escalated this to the relevant department heads for urgent review and corrective action. I also regret the noise disturbance and lack of soundproofing, which understandably disrupted your ability to work. We are currently reviewing options to improve guest room sound insulation and have taken note of your feedback. Your background in hospitality gives further weight to your observations, and I want to thank you for highlighting these points so constructively. We will be using your feedback to retrain our team and ensure we uphold the true standards of five-star service moving forward. Staying here is unforgettable moment for us, the room was so wide and the playground for our kids was so good The hotel location is so strategic cause besides the hotel there is central park mall if u looking for place to stay in West Jakarta, Pullman Central Park is a must for ur stay

We had a very pleasant one night stay at Pullman Central Park Jakarta,every aspect of our stay was wonderful,from checkin-to checkout everything was perfect. Amazing breakfast,Restaurant is cozy and big enough to have perfect breakfast. Various and tasty selections for breakfast,Especially complimentary desert in our room was very delcious. You can have perfect start to your day. Pullman Central Park with strategic location, close to the mall. Staff Super friendly and helpfull. Big shoutout to GX team, Ms. Michi n team,they made our special day Extra special,they upgraded our room to Park View,Amazing room with citylight view,You can relax there. We truly enjoyed our short stay and would glady return in the future. Thankyou Pullman Central Park for your Excellent service 🙏😇

Great location. Central Park, Taman Anggerek and Neo Soho shopping centres are just next door to hotel. Great varieties for breakfast spread. Great hospitality and helpful staff when in need. Short distance to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia by car. Soft bed and fluffy pillow. Had a wonderful sleep.

The staff service is top notch! The room is so comfy. And the breakfast is so good. All the staff from check in till enter the room is so helpful, oh yeah they have executive lounge. The hotel is neighbour with a good Shopping Mall.. you can just take a walk to reach the place.. A good experience stay in this hotel
