premier inn can be bought for an extra £20 and i would advise that

friendly enough staff but if you’re a light sleeper like me and book a double room i would suggest checking it is a double bed. i really don’t understand why hotels promote a double room if they don’t provide a double bed. we paid £264 for 2 nights and just had 2 single beds pushed together with a very thin mattress on top of each single bed, nearly impossible to sleep on for me as someone with sensory issues. i would say request a high floor as the whole time we could near people arguing outside constantly and we were on the second floor, when we had an uber eats order our driver was maybe Pakistani? a group of 6 boys sat on the floor outside singing very racist songs causing a disturbance and security locked us outside with them instead of telling them to move along, seems a bit of a rough area
