Great family suite on the outskirts of Luxembourg City

A great base for a weekend in Luxembourg. Lovely family suite with kitchenette which worked well for us as a family of 4 plus a dog. Situated very close to a tram stop, which provides free travel into the city centre.

Good hotel especially for family group.

Had the family room which had 1 queen need, 2 single beds, and 1 square table with a chair. Room size is decent. Without the 2 single beds, that space would have been a lovely sitting area. Room has a 'counter' with fridge, microwave and sink. Bathroom had both shower and tub. But strange design with toilet in separate VERY tiny room just inside of the entrance. Good buffet breakfast with hot food - sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs as well as eggs for self-boiling. Ham cheese and smoked salmon in a fridge. Good variety of breads. Did not notice lactose-free milk but there was soy milk which was good. Location is good, in between 2 tram stations, both about 2 mins walk. One small supermarket at the tram station. A bigger supermarket several stations away.

I have been a loyal customer of Novotel Suites Luxembourg for the past 8-9 years, staying at the hotel 2-3 times per year. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me very disappointed. Due to a change in my plans, I needed to cancel the last night of my stay and contacted the hotel two weeks in advance. Despite my long-standing loyalty, I was told that nothing could be done as my reservation was non-refundable. I understand that policies are in place, but I expected more flexibility and understanding given my history with the hotel. This experience has made me feel undervalued as a customer, and I hope the management will reconsider their approach to loyal guests in the future.

The price of this hotel is worth it. The room is spacious. Perfect for a family. It has the best value. You can easily go to this hotel from the tram station near the hotel. It only take like 7 minutes of tram to get to the city center. The staff and managers from the hotel and restaurant are very professional and helpful. The team truly reflects the General Manager’s, great characters and leadership. They truly cares about his guest satisfactions. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, and one day would come back again.

Excellent value hotel - good sized rooms, clean room and bedroom, separate toilet and shower/bath area. Kettle and microwave also provided. Excellent location in Kirchberg with tram stop 2 min walk away that is a quick ride into the Old Town or to a shopping centre the other way. Also 25min to get to and from the airport using the bus (6 or 16) and tram. Staff are friendly and hospitable. Continental breakfast is available - good selection of cold and hot foods. Children can eat free with an adult which is excellent value. Recommend a stay at this hotel.
