I booked the Novotel Luxembourg Centre as a surprise for my parents birthday so they could visit the Christmas markets. Overall, the stay was very good and we had a great time experiencing what Luxembourg had to offer. The main positive about the hotel is the location. It is a short walk to the city centre and if you want to explore further afield, there are bus stops nearby and the train station is a short walk. Getting to the hotel from the airport was also a breeze as there is a direct bus (number 29) from the airport to a bus stop called ‘Al Molkerei’ which is just a couple minutes round the corner from the hotel. I booked a room which accommodated all three of us, which had a double bed and a double sofa bed. As I was with my parents I had the sofa bed, and I have to say as far as sofa beds go it was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The room has everything you need, including tea and coffee making facilities, body wash and shampoo, a large safe and ample storage. The main downside to the room was the windows do not open which meant at times it did feel quite stuffy. The toilet is also in a separate small room from the rest of the bathroom which in theory is great, but the toilet room did not have a sink to wash your hands so you had to do this in the main bathroom anyway. Despite this the room was good for what we needed for a short stay. Overall, a good hotel in an excellent location – I would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a centrally based hotel in Luxembourg.

Friendly and helpful staff with easy check in and out. We had a superior room which was spacious with nice toiletries, towels etc. The location is good as most sights can be reached on foot or there are lots of free buses into the Old Town and surrounding areas.

We visited from August 22 - 24, my wife, our son, little dog and I. From arrival in reception, we were blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The whole weekend was made so enjoyable as a result of this, with staff finding ways to accomodate our little dog at breakfast and dinner. The room was spotless, (highly recommend getting an executive room on level 5 for a little extra) with a complimentary minibar included and super comfy beds. We have stayed at several diffent hotel in Luxembourg in the past, but will definitely be returning here from now on.

Spent two nights here. The staff were welcoming and provided lots of useful local information. As we were inter railing we selected this due to the proximity to the train station. Although it is a bit of a walk to the trams and city, it is great for accessing the old town. The room was spacious with loads of storage space.
