Absolutely horrific place to stay at, AC was broken so window had to stay open. The hotel is located by strip clubs and clubs and local drug dealing so heard everything for hours on end. Woke up at 0600 with shouting and screaming. Bathroom was more like a broom cupboard absolutely tiny. Best part was dropping the keys back at reception. Only stayed 1 night and that was too many....

Ibis standard is getting from bad to worse. This hotel located not far from the train station is surrounded with nightclubs, bars and restaurants either opposite or next to it. So you can imagine how much noise and shouting you get at night. So no matter what even with the window closed you can’t sleep if you have a room facing the street. The street itself is not safe with strange people having weird behavior. The room we got with 2 single beds is so small you barely have space to move around. No proper cupboard for your clothes you get a shelf in a corner close to the window. The door of the room can’t close properly and you are getting the light from the corridor. Bathroom is also quite small. And the heat in the room is unbearable no air conditioning. The breakfast is simple. According to the staff because of all these issues they are getting less customers. For the price we are paying it is not acceptable staying in this hotel or in Ibis hotel. What a pity Ibis style used to be better. The hotel mentioned on their website that they have a parking but at the end you don’t the chance to get a parking lot as the parking is very small and your car too big. Maybe this could be mentioned first on their website so we won’t end up walking down the streets with luggage. One positive thing is the nice lady at the breakfast.

Pros: Hotel location is good, rooms are clean and good AC and the staff are very friendly. Cons: Breakfast is abysmal, don’t pay for it! Some cereal and a few dry pastries which once they’re gone they don’t refill. Total waste of money, just get something from one of the nearby shops, there’s loads of choice.

Very clean and modern room. Quite small but it worked fine. The bathroom was tiny but very clean and looked recently updated. Breakfast was great. The location worked perfectly for me as I was leaving early (2 mins from the train station) but I did a walking tour and the person leading it said the only place she wouldn’t go after dark is around the train station

We stayed at the hotel Ibis Styles and were extremely disappointed and disgusted to find a variety of long and short black hairs in the bed and sheets as well as in the shower. Instead of offering an apology, the reception staff told us to write an email, to which no one has responded. Shame, as the rest of the stay was fine
