No respect for loyal Diamond Accor card members

No respect for loyal Accor card members, and I would avoid this hotel for the following reasons. I emailed the hotel in advance numerous times regarding parking and did not receive any reply. I had to contact Accor customer service to get a response, and they were unable to get a reply from the hotel. The only good point I have is that at check-in, the young lady was friendly and welcoming. Now for the bad! I was given a room on the 2nd floor and noticed the window security lock was broken, allowing it to be fully open. As I was traveling with three kids, one of whom is severly autistic and has no sense of danger, I reported this to the front desk at 4 PM and was told the maintenance guy had gone home and would not be available until the next day. Later in the evening, I passed by reception and enquired about not receiving the welcome amenity benefit as an Accor Diamond member and spoke to Iris at the front desk. She was totally confused about this welcome benefit, and said there is no such benefit I am entitled to. I told her I was an Accor Diamond member and that it’s a benefit you receive for being one of the highest status members. I was totally shocked by Iris's response, who belittled me very rudely, saying, “Diamond status is not the highest; All Limitless is the highest, and we have three of these card members staying at the hotel tonight who have a higher status than you.” I have Diamond status with Accor, Diamond status with Hilton, and Titanium Elite with Marriott, and I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner during any of my stays around the world. This response from Iris is totally unacceptable!

I had a 3 night stay while Paris had a temperature of -2. The Hotel room heating wasn't working. The heating in the corridor was more than what it was in the room. Lighting was a bit dim for the room which made it difficult to find things around the room. For work, I found it quite limiting to have 1 "Ironing room" for the entire hotel, where there's only 1 steamer and one iron. It makes it difficult for busy times to have your clothes ready for work. On the plus side the rooms are really spacious.

Avoid this hotel. Noisy all night and rude staff.

I had seen other reviews complaining about noise and therefore wrote to the hotel before finalising my booking. I asked for a quiet room on a floor as high as possible. The hotel has 9 floors. I received confirmation from the hotel that we would have a good room according to my request. Upon arrival I was surprised to get only a room on 1st floor. I even explained that I had contacted the hotel before and received confirmation that I would get a room on a high floor. The staff was rude and did not care. The rooms were very cold and heating not functioning. I asked the hotel for slippers, but the rude staff didn’t want to provide slippers for us. They even lied and said that Novotel Suites don’t have slippers for the guests. Other problems include blood on sheets, the fridge in room smelling like rotten fish, dirty bathroom with old makeup and finger mark, and of course the constant noise from the street. I write this review at 5:30 in the morning, because I was woken up by the noise from the street.

Excellent hotel with large suites - compare them to very small rooms generally found in all European hotels. Local train station is just 200 steps away, but thankfully there is very little noise in rooms due to movement of trains. Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum and most good locations in Paris are 2-3 stops away on train. Taxi rank is just opposite the hotel. Super safe area. Uber Eats can deliver the food of your choice. All the staff is very good and polite, especially the male server (I do no remember his name) in the breakfast area. One feedback I have is regarding organization of the suite. The bathroom area is separated with separate entrances for shower and toilet. Maybe it can be combined like it is in many other hotels.

Junior suite Beds aren't the most comfortable Staff are friendly and got us what we wanted It has been mentioned before in another review about the noise from outside coming through the windows. Good enough budget hotel for children. Near the metro and park.
