Located strategically in the city. It is very nearby to good restaurants with just walking distance. Room size is decent, but the bathroom is kind of small with a door that can't be close tightly. Water pressure is all right. Staff were politely and friendly. Breakfast is just so so only, the taste really need a lots of improvement. You won't miss anything if breakfast is not included. You can easily get food or Grab food in Hanoi.

Best location as centrally located in old quarter which makes it convenient for shopping , train street is just 5 mins away !! Value for money ! Staff is v courteous n helpful , even they upgraded my room as I was travelling with kids ! Highly recommend.

I had such a great time staying at Mercure Hanoi La Gare! The location is perfect, close to all the main spots and super convenient for getting around. The staff were fantastic—so friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, which had so many great options to choose from. Everything was fresh and tasty. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We stayed Mercure Hanoi la Gare for 5 nights. It is conveniently located near Old Quarter, just 15 mins walk away. Not so noisy as compared to the hotels in Old Quarter. Hanoi Laundry Town is just 200m from the hotel too. Hotel staff are super friendly, always getting our requests fulfilled efficiently. Many commendable staff, such as Ngoc and Nguyen. :)
