Terrible experience with the staff upon check out 😡 After having said we could check out lately, this dark haired lady at the reception on this 21 November 2025 charged my work colleague without previous warning ! Such behaviour is properly unacceptable and so rude. I’has checked and the lady servicing rooms was busy with at least 2 other rooms, so there was no reason to charge us 😱 I am travelling over 100 days per year since years I don’t recall such bad behaviour. Small boss using her little power, shameful and pitiful attitude, the little amount charged will never match the disastrous image of Rockford brand this lady is leaving. Plus we had paid an incredible high price for the night, well over the listed price today, due to our inviting party having booked in advance. Need to mention my room was stuck in between 2 rooms with reconstruction works 😰 I’ll make sure to let them know NOT to book Rockford hotels ANY LONGER.

Superior King Bed room - good sized room, approximately 38 m2. Good amount of cupboard space, large bar fridge, comfortable bed and nice sized shower. Room was modern and in very good condition. The Hotel is located very close to the Convention Centre, under 15 minutes walk to the Adelaide Oval, Central Market and Rundle Mall. Breakfast buffet was OK, with the option to have eggs freshly cooked at request. Well priced hotel - would definitely consider staying here again.

Lots of night time bar and traffic noise

Large room but very strange and old decoration. Good location. Lots of noise from street every night except Sunday. Boy racers use road as their personal race track. One reception staff member yawned while checking us in. I thought this was unprofessional to say the least. Breakfast poor, only had it once then had breakfast elsewhere for the remainder of our stay.

Clean room, friendly staff, great location. However no smart tv, shower flooded bathroom No matter how we titled it, outdated rooms.....but overall very convenient . Nice rooftop pool but not heated that we could tell ...refurbished lobby.

Very very noisy from a nightclub across the road. Don’t stay here is you want to sleep. This is obviously outside the control of the hotel, but room shaking base late into the night is a serious problem. The room is nice enough. The restaurant food was a bit ordinary.
