Great Location, Everything else poor and nowhere near a 4 star hotel.. Give it a miss

Lovely location but hotel needs managed... Dirty, poorly maintained, poor bar hours, no room cleaning, poor car parking at high cost. Here for six nights, overcharged and still haven't got my refund. Best to avoid this Fawlty Towers Episode . MANAGEMENT NEEDS A Rocket as it is a waste.

Sir, I am sorry that you found our establishment poorly managed, being the operations director of the establishment since January, I would like to respond directly to you on all the points you mentioned. The edges of the restaurant tables are on order and will be repaired very soon, however I assure you that none of them are sharp and do not present any risk to our customers. All our rooms are cleaned every day so I am surprised not to have received your comment regarding the cleanliness of your room during your stay, my teams and I would have done what was necessary the same day. You mention food poisoning by blaming our restaurant. Please note that we are monitored by a laboratory with mandatory samples and regular checks all year round. Concerning the outdoor swimming pool, it is managed by our co-ownership, which for a week has been adding the necessary deckchairs for our customers. Please also note that the Alba Plage private beach which is located just in front of the hotel will open its doors next week, which will allow our guests to have several possibilities to make the most of our magnificent waterfront location while being on the Port and a stone's throw from downtown Fréjus and even the nature base for lovers of sport and nature. As for the parking intercom, this is new because it was installed in April and to date we have not noticed any malfunctions. I hope to see you again at the Mercure Thalasso & Spa of Port-Fréjus **** in order to give you a wonderful stay and prove me right by showing you throughout your stay that my teams and I are here for our customers and that our establishment continues to improve.

Dirty and dangerous room, senior reception staff gave poor service no wifi

Stayed for three nights. A thick layer of dust coated everything. Advised reception who sent maintenance man to check. Was not resolved for the whole stay yet asked a couple of times. Plug sockets fell out of the wall leaving wires exposed. Shower in bath in a very small space but the only way that you can stand under the water is to stand with you feel on the slopes of the bath sides. You can not stand with your feet flat. It was extremely slippy and dangerous and had to hold on with one hand at all times. There was no wi fi at all in the rooms. The senior reception lady , long blknd hair was so rude. We asked to leave luggage and despite there being a locked luggage room she made me put it in the office with an open door where people passing it could see. The staff member whe we collected it was very confused as to why it was there. Waited at reception f9r ages, she is in the office on social media. She did not explain how to get into pools or exit to beach or towels. Added breakfast without asking us. Only discovered this on checkout! However, some other staff at other times were so helpful pleasant and polite. Location is great, five minutes from lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Thank you to the lovely maintenance man who sorted the plug sockets. He took the tome to answer some questions that that lady on reception shrugged her shoulders at even though he d8dnt speak much English took the time to use a translation app. Parking is paid and if the hotel don't have any, parking nearby can fill up and you might have to walk 10 mins to car park. We didn't eat. We tried to have a drink but gave up after waiting 15 mins whilst staff that said they were coming stacked plates and didn't serve us. A shame as service elsewhere in the town was amazing. An absolutely beautiful town, and short taxi to saint Raphael is worth it

Excellent location on the marina and beach. Walkable to restaurants, shops, markets, old town Frejus. Easy access to train to Cannes and boats to St Tropes. Very comfortable beds and nice pool. Excellent staff. Highly recommend!

IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GO THERE : MISS IT

My room-suite was fine - Thalassotherapy treatments and staff were fine. What made my stay awful is the hotel restaurant " Ensouliea" Do Not believe what their website says. Breakfast very poor/ During my 50 + years of travelling the world , I had yet to see that, read on : A MAJOR DISAPOINTEMENT : the restaurant " Ensouleia " was ABOMINABLE !!! Keeping the very same menu for lunch and dinner for over a month , and with no plans to change , or offer A LA CARTE , was awful and just unacceptable . XMAS menu was just APPALING . What's more ,the management is fully aware that during the lead up time to Xmas and year end , all good restaurants in Port Frejus are closed , but did not really care if clients were left with ZERO AND POOR CHOICE for dinner ! So if you need to enjoy a nice and lovely dinner on location , you are in the WRONG PLACE AND TOWN . If you are only interested in Thalassotherapy treatments , you can as an out patient , and just rent a furnished apartment and do your own meals

The service does not match the price. lack of staff, no private parking in a paid area. it will be necessary to fight at breakfast to find a clean table. again the price is not justified. I want to say here my disappointment
