I was worried after reading some of the reviews. We arrived at 11am and our room was ready . I had paid for a Mountain View but we were put in a sea view. It was fantastic, room 226 . Waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the sound of the waves was lovely. The staff are excellent and the setting could not be bettered . A five minute walk to the left of the hotel as you go out takes you to the marina. Along the front are numerous open air restaurants. If you carry on up a slight hill there are cafes on the right and souvenir shops . It’s about 3/4 hour to Cannes .

Doesn't live up to the 4 star status....

We booked a one night stay in a Suite, arriving at 5pm to be told our room was not ready. Through our Accor status we actually have early check in priority so we were quite disappointed that 2 hours after standard check in the room was not ready. We asked to speak to the Manager who then advised that this was completely beyond the hotel's control as the previous guest refused to leave the room?! After a long discussion with management we were offered drinks at the bar and the room was ready about an hour later. The Suite itself was extremely dated and felt very unclean, sand on the floor, hairs in the bathroom. The furniture is chipped, holes and cracks in the wall have been very poorly plastered and the fabric of both the blinds and sofas are stained. This certainly did not feel like a 4 star property. We were eventually compensated further with complimentary parking, and offered breakfast. Overall this hotel is living purely on location (which is stunning) and is in major need of renovation.

The best hotel on the Cote d’Azur

The Pullman Mandelieu is the best hotel on the Cote d’Azur. Why? It is perfecy situated right on a sort of private bay and it has a great 23 meter long swimmimg pool. It has stylefully decorated rooms, some with frontal sea view. Moreover the staff is professional from the voituriers to the housekeeping staff. The restaurant Blue Lemon has a varied menu at an excellent price quality. And it offers all other services which you can expect from a Pullman hotel.

Don’t stay here. Staff did not share any information upon check in (when breakfast, which is included, ends, where it is, where other amenities are). Constant noise, especially in the morning. Staff pushing into elevator with carts every time. Doesn’t say anywhere on the website that you have to PAY to sit by the included pool - you can go in for free but dare not sit. Plus the shower leaked.

In addition, even if it does not excuse us in any way, I must tell you that we have just strengthened the teams for the season with new people at the reception and in fact, our "processes" are not yet assimilated and effective. I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to bring you the great experience that we are known for. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Indeed, the beach prices in English have not been updated on our site, thank you for warning us. However, you can find displays of this service in the hotel. To answer the point you raise, this service is paid as in all 4* hotels on the French Riviera. Of course, as a hotel guest you benefit from a preferential rate in high and low season. Nevertheless, we are lucky to benefit from an exceptional location "on the edge of the sea" which allows you, if you prefer, to sit on the side of the public beach and then enjoy the swimming pool and the beach with free access. If you give us the opportunity to regain your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to provide you with the great experience that our guests look forward to every day at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu. the hotel has a very bad service it’s lower than what i expected they have unprofessional staff who are not able to help us with anything we keep asking for an adapter for many times and they have nothing! how come?! this a hotel which means they have clients from the whole world
