Great for airport overnight.

The Novotel Munich Airport hotel is a modern comfortable hotel located on the MUC airport complex. We drove to the hotel which is about a 5-7 minute drive to the airport terminal/car rental return location. Parking at the hotel cost €28 a day which seemed a little excessive. You can also travel to the terminal by taxi. Unfortunately the hotel does not offer their own transfer vehicles. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant with a menu that is rather limited and overpriced. Our room (108) was a comfortable functional room with a comfortable bed, small refrigerator and in-room safe. We would recommend the Novotel for an overnight airport stay in Munich.

Wrong decision, Accor

So the hotel is nice, but the company that owns the hotel doesn't deserve your business. We were in Munich and wanted to watch the Munich/Barcelona game in the hotel bar. There were two "VIP" people from the organisation that runs the hotel and they chose to watch the Milan/Young Boys game despite the entire bar requesting Bayern. They also left the poor bar staff having to make the apologies. This is how they feel about their clients. Novotel is now off of my organisation's list of available hotels for my staff and I won't renew our Accor contract on principle as I don't want my people treating this way by anyone. That isn't what good customer service is about.

Please rest assured that the two persons you mention are indeed staff members of another hotel of Accor, but not running this or any other hotel of our company. I cannot understand at all why my team did not show the FC Bayern game, all of us are big fans of “our” Munich team. And in general, we show all games with the FC Bayern or the other German teams. Hopefully my apologies and explanations find your acceptance, I know we are unable to remove your recent experiences, but if there is any chance to deliver a much better experience to you during your next Munich visit feel free to contact me personally. Pleasant and convenient place to stay for the night.

Beautifully renovated hotel--clean, sleek room and everything we needed. It was incredibly quiet! There was a kettle in the room with teas and coffee. Arriving at the Munich airport and getting to the hotel was confusing. After asking two different people we found our way across an atrium, took an escalator upstairs to the street and the 635 bus stop was right there. I have read that there is a charge for this but no one paid when we got on. The bus driver was not collecting money. When we departed the hotel the bus stop was on the street next to the hotel. It took about 5 minutes to get back to the airport.

Very comfortable beds.

Stayed one night after a late flight. Had to queue for quite a long time to check in which wasn't good after a tiring day travelling. The beds were very comfortable and the room though small was well thought out, the coffee machine, free water and chocolate were appreciated. A nice bathroom with Rituals toiletries added to the overall satisfaction. Didn't eat at the hotel but may try the breakfast next time. We have stayed at the hotel previously and will stay there again .

Misconnected but had a wonderful stay

Misconnected in Munich but it was awesome because of the Novotel The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are quite lovely. Very very comfortable beds and pillows very clean very nice coffee machine and complementary water. Lufthansa providing me with meals. The evening buffet was very good and the wines were tasty. Good morning. Buffet was very very good and had great mimosas I travel a lot and hotels past my expectations. Check in was easy check out was lovely. They gave me at 2 PM late. Check out without any opposition. I would highly recommend and I would stay there if I ever need to stay at the airport the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating .
