Absolutely no surprise in this perfectly standard Ibis hotel. Once there you do not know where you are, as it is fully standardized like any Ibis in the world. Good, because you get what you want to have: affordable stay with sufficient confort. Of course the rooms have a limited size and the bathroom is not beautiful but everything is there.

Good 3 star hotel. Good connection to a city center. If you come on the weekend you can park a car for free in the nearby street. Free wi-fi. Nice view of the city centre and Olympic park (incl BMW headquarters).

This hotel is located in a very quiet area of Munich. There are lots of commercial office buildings in the area, mostly in high rises. Therefore, traffic is kept to a minimum. During the weekday it is busy with office workers and there are places to eat lunch. In the evening and on weekends, it is pretty much void of anyone or traffic, nothing is open. The Ibis hotel is attached to another Accor hotel Novotel. Each has its own entrance and facilities. Check-in was fast and the receptionist very helpful and friendly as were all the staff I came in contact with. I was given a room on the 8th floor and a complimentary drink voucher due to my Gold status with Accor. The room was a typical Ibis room, clean comfortable bed, very small flat screen TV and complimentary WiFi. Spotless bathroom. The breakfast area was very nice, and quite large. A buffet breakfast is served each morning and there is a nice variety of foods available. There is also food service in the evening. The lobby is quite large, two computers to use as well as many plugs for using your own. It also has a small nice bar area. The only downside to the hotel is its location. It is really not near many of the tourist sights. There is public transit available, a tram #23, as well as the #50 bus both will get you to U bahn stations so that you may get to the more touristic areas. You might want to check prices Accor hotels closer in, as you will definitely need buy a day ticket at a cost of 7.80 euros, so that will add to cost of your nightly stay. For me, I enjoy staying outside the touristic areas, this hotel was just great for me. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars was due to location

I have never seen a round bathroom until I stayed here. Imagine a large tube standing upright. Now place that tube in the hotel bedroom. I took photos of the outside and inside to help people understand. I had one friend say that she thought that she should be saying, "Beam me up, Scotty" every time she entered the bathroom. The hotel is clean and newly remodeled. I would gladly stay here again
