Convenient hotel in a residential area

The hotel can be reached easily from the northern motorway. Parking in the surrounding streets is possible. The room is large, can easily accommodate 4 people's. The furnitures starts to be updated : the bathroom is actually a kind of cabin, which is a bit weird. The hotel is quiet. The bed is good.

Nos robo el personal de limpieza y además la manager nos trató muy mal, no nos sentimos bien tratados. Es una sensación horrible cuando tus pertenencias están supuestamente seguras y no lo están, no te dan la tranquilidad de que puedan estarlo cuando estás de viaje. We were stolen by the housekeeping service and the manager was not comprehensive at all, we didn't feel well supported. It is a very horrible feeling when your belongings are not safe and the people from the hotel do not give you the sensation that they are when you are travelling.

Garage for pro drivers and expensive, bed not ready

We arrived tired at 19 after many car crash on the motorway. We put the car in the garage: not all cars can fit into and it is 22 eur (for 13 hours). We had a triple and the bed of my daughter wasn't ready. Someone from reception came with a weird pillow and sheets that didn't fit exactly and forgot the towels. My daughter got annoyed so I had to sleep on the couch/bed and give her my towel and dry me in my t-shirt. The couch was even not so clean. In all this I asked some points as a goodwill gesture and... No answers. I mean it was a disaster. They totally forgot to make up a room for 3 people and only a "we will do better next time" under my 2 stars on Google. I am totally angry. In the corridors till late night naked kids were playing and running. Really? And no answers to my email.

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the front desk staff. I had an acute medical issue which required prescription medication in the middle of the night, couple hours before my planned check out and long flight back home. Sarah who was at manning the reception went above and beyond to contact the local pharmacy, print my prescription, equip us with contextual knowledge of how things work in Germany, all while being extremely sweet and emphathatic. If not for her assistance, we might have spent the night in the hospital at the emergency room instead. I'm very thankful that it was her we met that night. While this hotel targets mostly business travellers, we stayed 2 nights at the end of a long Europe family vacation. The rooms are a very good size (great for packing all my shopping loots), and the Accor status room upgrade was honoured. Overall, we had a great stay. Couple things to note: there was no A/C during our stay (in May which is rather cooling so this wasn't an issue), and the w/c is separated from the bathroom. Parking is quite a challenge, we had an x5 and needed to fold our wing mirrors before we barely cleared the entrance to the garage.

I stayed at Novotel Schwabing during a recent business trip and found it to be a clean, efficient, and decent business hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread is quite good. Service is courteous and consistent. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The rooms are quite dimly lit, which made working or reading in the evenings a bit uncomfortable. Also, the light switches are placed quite randomly around the room — I often had to get out of bed after settling in just to turn off a stray light. Another downside is that the hotel only serves breakfast — no in-room dining or dinner options. The nearest restaurants are at least a 7–10 minute walk away, and many close relatively early, so food choices can be zero if you’re back late. On the plus side, the hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, making it a comfortable place to return to after a day out. Overall, it’s a solid option for business travellers who don’t mind the minimal F&B options.
