Would like to thank Amand Goyal and his team for providing an excellent experience today. He was very attentive but not overbearing. Nothing was too much trouble. Both the selection, quantity, and quality of food were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon tea.

Went here as part of an Intrepid trip and was delighted at how high quality everything here is. The rooms were beautiful and the bathroom very spacious. The beds were super comfy and the sheets very soft. I felt vere safe here as a solo female traveller and its in a brilliant spot in town, just 10mins walk to most big attractions.

Very disappointing

Staff ok. Room ok but not outstanding. No bath, which was a big minus for me. They allowed us to check in early and leave bags there while we toured. So that was good. Air conditioning didn’t work in either of our rooms. Thick duvet too warm. No spare blankets. I found the breakfast experience a 2 star event. The scrambled egg looked so weird I thought it was something else. Not yellow but grey? I thought it might be some sort of potato. The only available coffee at 7.45am was sachets and ‘hot water’ from a container. The water was tepid. Terrible. I don’t think I have had worse coffee in a hotel breakfast ever. We asked for real coffee and they did make some. But really?! Paying big rates for that? Some grotty areas eg downstairs loos. Good foyer area, great location. But very expensive and pretty disappointing.

Fine but not great

Mostly fine hotel but felt overpriced for what it is. The rooms are clean but a little worn, the lobby is nice but other common areas dated. The WiFi was very slow and erratic, making it hard to work in the room. Notably, there was no elevator in my wing- I was on 3rd floor and had to lug my baggage up and down, and no staff offered to assist. It was fine for me, but would be concerned for elderly or or guests with movement limitations. They should disclose this at booking. I did appreciate being allowed to check in a little early (1pm), front desk staff were polite, and lobby smelled nice.

Extremely Unhelpful staff, overall unpleasant experience. Wouldn’t even feed the breakfast to my dog. Hotel was nicely presented and in a brilliant spot in town but that was the only good thing it had going for it. Will not be returning here.
