I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, I feel at home when I arrive. Clean, spacious rooms, private, balcony, amazing bar, late check out, staff are so accommodating, amazing pool. I enjoy my stay and am a regular customer. Amazing hotel.

Housekeeping needs some working on. Stayed for 1 night while attending a nearby social event. Checked in and went to drop bag. Temperature control had been set by housekeeping to warm up the room which is fine but set at 30 degrees so was like entering a sauna. Took an hour with windows open to get to a comfortable temperature. Returned late from event to realise that bed had only been made up with a base sheet but nothing on top (duvet etc). Not particularly fun chasing night manager at 1.30am for 45 mins to get one delivered.

Tried and tried to get through by phone. One recorded message after another. Had to give up in the end. This used to be a well run, unique hotel. Now part of a corporate blob. The absolute opposite of a "personal' experience. Ideal for a Franz Kafka weekend.

Staying at this Hotel at the bottom of Boxhill December the 11th 2022 We were attending a Charity Christmas event nearby and it was a convenient location for us to stay. Up to 20 of our friends also staying in the hotel. We allp agreed this Hotel needs updating and some TLC very tired and a bit rundown. Our main issue was the Heating our rooms were Freezing so cold we couldn’t shower due to the temperature in the room. We couldn’t wait to leave. A very bad experience. If I could I would ask for a full refund. All our friends had the same experience. The good points are the location and the breakfast was very good. Watch out for car parking restrictions and payment. Think this is a new system you must register your number plate to avoid any fines. Bar staff seem to need some training making coffee and serving drinks. Steve Uk

We have an rolling program of maintenance to ensure hotel is maintained to a high standard, we do believe the hotel décor is fitting with the location and period of the hotel. The owners of the hotel continue to invest in the property, at this time we are in the midst replacing our heating and hot water systems to resolve the issues you expereinced. Shocking they don't answer or reply

Not able to call the hotel as they don't answer. Not able to email hotel as they don't respond. I have booked a Christmas package for dinner on the 25th at 12.30pm but I can't check inn my room until 2pm with my doggy. So I have booked for a chrstmas dinner which I can't even attend. As they did not tell us when we booked that we couldn't check in until after christmas lunch. This has been a total waste of my time and money. Its been a nightmare having to drive twice already to the hotel to talk to someone as they don't pick up phones. I'm not able to book my Christmas lunch options. Although without them checking my room inn early, I won't be able to attend this with my dog. This a joke the way the Christmas lunch stuff has been organised. The previous reviews are awful. I want my money back and not to attend this disgrace show.
