The White Hart Hotel is set in an elegant Grade II listed building, close to Salisbury Cathedral. Centrally located in the old town, our historic 4-star Salisbury hotel dates back to the 1600s, blending original Georgian character with modern comfort and amenities. With 80 rooms, including 12 new apartments, our hotel makes an ideal base for visiting Stonehenge, the New Forest and Wiltshire. We're located in Salisbury's historic centre, just opposite the cathedral. This traditional hotel is somewhat lacking in ambience but that lack is more than made up with adequacy - it ticks all boxes with ability and functionality. Agreeable reception staff, practical rooms (albeit with minimal wash hand basins) and bit of a maze of rooms. However we were promptly served with perfect lunch snack sandwiches and our following morning breakfast (which included fried bread! - a rarity) could only have been bettered with bubble & squeak instead of hash brown. Parking is on site. We enjoyed our stay and thank you.

Excellent location, close to cathedral and town centre. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Quite a busy hotel with business folk predominant. Breakfast was a little chaotic as the business folk had been and gone. We were seated in the bar area due to us having a dog. No problem whatsoever, staff were very attentive and looked after us. The bonus for us was the fact there was a car park attached, daily fee to be paid. We found a pub within 100yds for dinner as it was lashing down all evening so stayed local to dine. Would certainly recommend for a visit to Salisbury.

Stayed in the new apartments between Christmas and New Year. The apartment was clean and had everything for our requirements. The extras were most welcome! (Sewing kit, shaving kit etc!) didn’t get to have breakfast as the old man didn’t get up in time! Loved it. We will be back! Didn’t get to use the main hotel but from what we did experience the staff were very helpful.

My Wife & I arrived on Sunday 23rd November for a two night stay. We booked a privilege room for both nights (with breakfast) Cost was £118.06 for Sunday and £146.25 for Monday (Advance saver rate) Car parking was £7.50 per 24 hours. We booked our stay via the Accor website. Room 134 overlooked Brown St. and came with a bath tub and a large bed. Sleep quality was excellent, all the staff were very helpful and room servicing was good too. Wi-Fi was good everywhere. All rooms accessed via stairs. Breakfast was very good - tea/coffee came from a machine. Lots of choice & we enjoyed our meal. Location is excellent for exploring and shopping - We would recommend this hotel for your stay. I hope you find my review helpful !

I had a very lovely stay here at the Mercure white hart in Salisbury, I believe I got more than I bargained for as I ended up in an apartment which had a very clean bathroom and spacious bed. There is an onsite restaurant as well. Would recommend to visit.
