Good Ibis Great location for CasaPort and tram. Sister brands Novotel and Sofitel are nearby. Very convenient if you want to try other bars/restaurants without going too far. Construction in the area but I didn’t experience any noise pollution. I slept soundly each night which suggests the walls and floors are hotel grade. Bed was comfy and has spare blanket and pillow. Love that! Front desk was efficient and helpful when we had some issues with housekeeping. Our room didn’t have a “do not disturb” sign when we checked in. We mentioned it to the front desk when passing by and they told us they would have someone hang one for us overnight. We saw they hung the sign when we were leaving in the morning for a day of exploring. When we returned that evening it was obvious that housekeeping had ignored the do-not-disturb sign and had entered the room. Not cool. They should honor the guests preference for when/if entry is acceptable. Additionally, the room key did not unlock the door for us!! We notified the front desk about housekeeping entering despite the sign ‘do not disturb’ and that the key was not programmed correctly. They apologized and it did not happen for the rest of the stay. On hindsight, if the front desk did not program the key correctly perhaps that is why housekeeping thought the room was unoccupied. Are the two systems are connected? Shower was great. Fast and plentiful hot water and great pressure. Elevators worked well, minimal wait times. Good Ibis. I’ll use it again next time I’m in Casablanca
