After an outstanding experience at the Pullman last year, my family and I eagerly returned for an eight-night stay in January. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the high standards we previously enjoyed. While the staff remained accommodating where possible, the exceptional, personalized service we experienced last year was noticeably absent. Previously, the customer service manager personally introduced herself at breakfast and checked in throughout our stay to ensure we were satisfied—this time, we never saw her at all. Instead, we received a generic email the day before arrival, which appeared to be an automated message sent to all guests. Additionally, upon arrival, we were not offered a welcome drink, which was disappointing, especially since we observed many other guests receiving one during our stay. While this may seem like a small detail, such gestures contribute to a sense of being valued as a guest. Breakfast service was another area where we noticed a decline. The dining area felt overcrowded, securing a table was sometimes difficult, and the staff appeared overwhelmed at times. During my stay, I fell ill and required a doctor and nurse to visit my room. While hotel staff were aware of this, no one followed up to check on my well-being. Given that the Pullman positions itself as a five-star establishment, I would have expected a higher level of care and attentiveness in such circumstances. The hotel itself is beginning to show signs of aging and would benefit from renovations to maintain its premium appeal. On a positive note, our rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and cleaned daily. We were also grateful for the upgrade to our main room through the ALL – Accor program. The location remains one of the hotel’s strongest assets—just across from the beach and within walking distance of Garlic Lane, as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping options. While we still appreciate many aspects of the Pullman, the decline in service and overall experience this year was disappointing. Hopefully, the hotel will take steps to restore the high standards that once made it such a standout destination.

Pullman Legian hotel has excellent hotel staffs.Especially I want to show my grand gratitude to the manager, Mr.Frans for his outstanding ability to put himself in guests' shoes. I had some problems to correspond with reservation staff because of everlasting tardy replies through emails for my request before my arrival and even on the date of arrival, hotel car driver was not on the spot at the airport. But Mr.Frans's excellent and outstanding service made my annoyance and disappointment released. I could fully enjoy my holidays thanks to Mr.Frans. :) I really appreciate him for all these arrangements.

I actually stayed in May 2023. The smell and damp was digusting and ruined our holiday. We were told that in order to stop condensation running down the walls and forming on flat surfaces we needed to keep the aircon below 22 degrees. We live in the tropics so keeping our room at that temperature wasn't an option. As a result we slept the 2 duvet covers ontop of each other in order to keep warm. We changed rooms twice to no avail. We actually got a full refund from Accor, not the Pullman! Out of interest I emailed the hotel a year ago asking if the problems had been fixed. I was assured they had. Well, one only has to search the word smell in the reviews to see the problem has not been fixed! Most to the reviews have a response from the manager saying how appreciates the feedback and will ensure all the required maintenance will be done. I think it is appauling that management haven't fixed the problem and continue lure customers to stay in rooms with damp, smell and condensation running down the walls and forming on all flat surfaces while doing nothing about it! I look forward to the managers response

I was able to stay comfortably for 4 nights thanks to the great location, food, and friendly staff. I would especially like to thank Astiti, who kindly replied to my emails from the time of reservation, and Ayik, who guided me through various things at the reception during my stay.

Great staff from Reception to Porters and staff at restaurants. Obviously, property is a bit dated and needs refresh, but the location is good across from the beach and shopping area. We stayed for the night and found it convenient enough to go around.
