I stayed here with my clients, 3 rooms, on 3rd of August and 5th of August. Suddenly the electricity was down on 4th August early in the morning for about 15-20 minutes. I talked to the front office and hotel GM in the morning. They told me that it was government electricity authority who responsible to this problem. Then I asked whether they have Automatic Transfer Switch generator to overcome this problem, surprisingly they say no. Can you imagine, what if the guest trapped in the elevator due to this problem. I bet they also dont have proper light fire extinghuiser. So if you looking for a safe and secure hotel, this hotel is not a choice. Not a well anticipated hotel I guess

Regarding the electricity was down on that day caused from the electrical transformer of the Provincial Electricity Authority near the hotel has a problem so out of power in all areas around the hotel . During that time the hotel generator operated for the emergency light on the guest room, corridor, fire escape stairs, lobby and elevator operate as normal. But it’s not covered for all electric, only the main point that concern for emergency light. This follows the secure & safety procedure which is our top priority that we need our guest safety. Our hotel follow Health and Safety Regulation which we have monthly check for all equipment and the team member has training. Also, the provincial government has annual inspect our hotel which confirms to us that good follow Health and Safety Regulation. Our apologies that we cannot offer the compensates as you requested follow this situation and apologize for any inconvenience this matter may cause and thank you very much for your patience and for your kind understanding. Professional, quick, welcoming - should be standard and yet stands out

It may seem banal, but to a very frequent traveller, it really counts - check-in was seamless, rapid, professional and yet welcoming - special mention to Miss Kanchalika. Why hotels have to take 5 minutes + to check in loyalty-card holders just defeats me. And the IBIS in Koh Samui wanted a THB500 deposit - whilst offering a welcome letter and a plate of fruit. And, a great, quick and reasonable Chicken with cashew nuts at the bar. Very nicely run, exceptional.

If you enjoy a more quiet place to sleep, THIS IS THE PLACE! The room was clean and in great condition. The air conditioner worked so well, the room was even so cold on the first night (because I don’t set it yet) The staffs are great and helpful. The location is great near to seven-eleven and a walking distance of the Metro station. And Thank you so much for noticing my Visit. I looking forward to visiting you again soon!

It’s the good choice for medium budget

If you have the medium budget, this hotel will not be the bad choice. It’s location is convenient and there is a night market near it. You only walk 5 minutes to go there. Besides, there are many food choices from street foods to restaurants. There is also one pharmacy and one mini supermarket. However, not all the front desk staff can speak and understand English very well. They have the free shuttle bus to go the central, but receptionist did not share about it upon check in. And please check your belongings before leaving as they do not inform you even they found it.

However, with us having a range of guests comprising of many different nationalities, it is inevitable that from time to time a minor communication breakdown will occur. During guest checking out, our reception team always remind guests about the belonging and sometime they release guests before our housekeeping staff checked the room as we need to do the fast for our guests. However, if we found that our guest forgot their belonging we will contact guest by telephone or email and keep the belonging until time. I have stayed in Ibis Sathorn many times. Convent location, excellent caring staff - no request is a problem. Rooms are excellent with safe, coffee/tea tray, tv aircon and fantastic beds. I will will be back in 2024!!
