Approx £30 for a well known Western chain hotel was ok value. The location in Sukhmivit 4 / Nana is perfect if you want the nightlife of this area. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, basic and worked for one a one night stay. You can’t call it luxury but you are not paying the prices for that (eg much more expensive Landmark, Marriott) etc.

This is in the centrum, a lot of bars, stripclubs, prostitutes, night life is in here. If you are a party goers this is area is for you. If you want to enjoy bangkok choose this hotel. Everything is in here. The Hotel is nice and clean. In outside you can smell cigarettes smokes it's normal because it's a busy area.

Stay for 3 nights and everything is perfect . Being a platinum member , they truly make you feel welcome and room was nicely prepared with welcome card and fruits platter . Have a welcome drink at sky bar with amazing view . Saff are friendly and well trained . Concierge also did a good job as we have many bags and luggage . Will stay again .

I have stayed at this hotel over 50 times now and I also stay there when in Bangkok. As a Accor Member I get treated so well and yesterday was my birthday and you see from the photos how they looked after me. Very simple stuff to do but creates lifetime customers. Nice hotel and great staff but an average experience this time.

As with previous visits to this hotel, the staff were tremendous. This includes the Novatel staff as well. I enjoyed the restaurant food and drinks along with the Red Square rooftop bar. There were two things that I was disappointed with , one which the hotel could not do anything about and the other which they could. 1. I had a high floor room which faced Soi4, the noise from the bars and live music was not really acceptable as it continued to 5am. I always carry ear plugs when travelling so the noise did not stop me from sleeping. I did not ask to change rooms but if there is a next time I will ask for a room which faces away from Soi 4. 2. When I checked out, I informed the front desk that I was moving to a hotel 10 minutes down the Soi and as I was feeling ill, I asked for the courtesy bus to take me (which was outside the hotel). I was told I would have to wait for 15-20 minutes until the next time the bus was available. I decided to walk to the Ibis. The staff at the Ibis also questioned why the courtesy bus had not given me a lift, when I told them where I had come from. This is questionable customer service and I will take this into account the next time I am deciding where to stay in Bangkok. I will probably stay at the Mercure Soi 11 instead. I have had no problems asking for the courtesy bus with the Mercure.
