Novotel RJ Santos Dumont oteli 4 yıldız

Expensive , nothing included, had problems with the AC as soon as I arrived to my room from a long day s work and had to be moved to another room after two employees came to try to fix the AC. Fairly dissapointed to say the least

I would have to present my credit card what I had paid months ago. Without this I couldn't stay on the hotel. Terrible process. All of services are OK. The location near the airport is the vantage to stay in this hotel.

I chose this hotel simply because of the excellent location, and because I do believe it is good value for money. This is my fourth stay here, and I will be back. I was very pleased with the room , and the good intentions exhibited by the staff.

Ideal for a fast trip, because it's near the Santos Dumont airport, you can go by walk from the airport. The hotel follows the Novotel patterns, which is good. Good attendants, clean and new rooms. It's far from the Rio's touristic points, but it's possible to get taxis, buses or subway. During the night the region is not so safe, so be careful walking around late at night.

Accomodation are OK, but service at the bar in the ground floor is terrible. I arrive to eat at 9:30PM and had to wait almost 45 minutes to have my food. I asked chicken breast and it came dry and hard. The excuse was that there were many orders for room service. As the food took to long to arrive, I finished eating by 10:25 PM and I wanted to order a desert but, it was refused by the waiter because the eating area of the bar closes at 10:30PM. Very bad !!

Poor service and infraxtructure for a Novotel (comparing to others) and too expensive based on this service and structure comparison. No pool, some people of staff could not orientate properly when asked for some suggestions.

The installation is on downtown, but the hotel is very calm, quiet and clear, the big advantage is that it very close of the down town offices. The restaurant is good with a Fair cost. The break-fast is very good too.

Very good restaurant however a bad experience in restaurant. Delay to attend, delay to prepare drink, delay to bring the bill and there is no wine in the menu. Very bad experienc in the restaurant. Idont recommend. And the only option to eat around (without take a taxi) is the Ibis. ( that is been the best option comparing to novotel)

I use to stay at this Hotel in most of my business trips to Rio and it is very conveniently located for this purpose, close to the domestic airport and within walking distance to the financial center. Nice installations, courteous reception staff, only drawback is still the restaurant services, very slow and in this stay with the "rechaud" equipment not working properly that led to the buffet dishes being cold.

There are only a few good hotels in downtown Rio and this is among the better ones. Next to the airport and in a walking distance to the center you might consider this one if touristim around and beaches are not among your priorities.

This is my third time at this Novotel Santos Dumont hotel, and I must state that I absolutely enjoyed my stay. They provided excellent service, and certainly value for money. Given another chance to visit Brazil and Rio de Janeiro, I will stay here again.

Came back to Novotel Rio St Dumont and don't regret it. The staff is superb, giving very good tips on the city and also on the transport system. The fitness room could have better machines (more weights).

comfortable hotel like all Novotel hotels. Need more staff during rush hours avoiding long time during check-in/check-out. Parking staff needs to be more proactive and as in the other Novotel better having parking bill under Hotel responsibility. If you have to take plane, it is the right place to stay, otherwise I don't recommend - it is not a friendly neighborhood - nothing to do nearby.

Another weekly stay at the Novotel Santos Dumont in Rio. Location is very good, just across the road from the domestic airport and close to most business clients and our local office. Only drawback is that at night downtown is empty and therefore dangerous to walk around, so if you want to go to a nice restaurant, movie theater or anything else you have to get a taxi. Otherwise, nothing to crictisize, accomodation is good, staff very courteous and a good breakfast buffet.
