Pros: - We stayed in the Executive Suite that was super clean and felt like a proper treat - Went to the pool in the evening, which was quiet and perfect for unwinding - Leisure facilities included sauna, steam room and jacuzzi - Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options to choose from - Staff were friendly and always eager to help - Convenient location for the city and airport Cons: - Only stayed one night (wish we stayed longer!). We will definitely return if visiting Edinburgh again

Great experience outside the city center chaos but still accessible to the fun

We couldn’t help visiting Edinburgh during the busiest time of the year (Fringe Festival) compounded by the fact that Oasis was playing and the entire city was rightfully bucket-hatted so we ended up staying at this location because a) it was available b) it had AC c) it was only 15min to the center of town d) it had a pool. Turned out to be great for us, even preferred! Jess, Clive and Stefan were great to us in the restaurant and really sweet to our son. We had an issue with our TV and maintenance took care of it right away. I want to say name was Colin but it was a month ago (Hearts fan, at least I remembered that!) Really great guy, funny, personable, helpful and had front desk send up something nice apologizing for the TV. The pool was great too. Would go back. Also the staff was adorable as they were all wearing bucket hats for Oasis!

Staff should be more interested in serving guests

Nice friendly welcome from lady at reception. Unfortunately we had to pay extra to use the car park which is not acceptable if you are staying. Tried to get a bottle opener from the reception but the gentleman said I should call the restaurant, not taking ownership. Called the restaurant and the gentleman wanted to charge me 5 pounds to bring it to my room! The hotel itself is not bad but most of the staff seemed disinterested. Given a room around the back where the loud train passes by.

We enjoyed our stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park. The location is very convenient, with the tram stop just a short walk away, making it easy to get into the city centre without any hassle. It was also simple to reach the airport, which added to the practicality. The hotel itself was clean, well-kept, and the rooms felt spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for good access to Edinburgh while staying slightly outside the busy city centre.
