I would give the hotel 4 star and not 5. the location is very good, staff were helpful, you do not get maid service everyday, which is ok with me.

The worst of hygiene

I had the worst experience of staying. I found mice in places where I threw away waste, and the washing machine installed underground was not properly sanitized. The dishwasher was full of oil. When pointed out by accor's review, Craig, the staff, pointed out in a very rude and determined tone, as if it was the customer's fault for not informing him during his stay. Staff is rude, and they will always provide the worst service to our customers. It is not appropriate even for accor's properties. I never recommend it.

아파트형 호텔로 청결도가 좋지 않습니다. 쓰레기를 버리는 곳에서 쥐를 한마리 발견했습니다. 숙소 내 타월도 본인이 직접 프론트 데스크로 방문해서 교체받아야 합니다. 객실 내 식기세척기가 있으나 언제 청소한것인지 모를 정도로 기름떼가 흥건했습니다.

For context, as an aparthotel we do not provide daily servicing for short stays, which is part of our aparthotel service standard. We also do not operate a bar or restaurant, but we do offer welcome drinks from our mini market, and I’m sorry if this fell below your expectations. We aim for this information to be clear prior to booking, and I apologise if it was missed during your booking process. Please note that Adagio Aparthotels are not subject to free upgrades as part of the ALL membership benefits. However, when possible, we do try to provide additional benefits/extras to meet our loyal guest expectations, but these are offered at the hotel’s discretion rather than as a membership entitlement. You’ve noted some very troubling comments regarding cleanliness and hygiene, which, if reported during your stay, would have been directly followed up on. I’m sorry your experience was so negative, and whilst some elements relate to the fundamentals of the aparthotel model we operate, I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and hope this helps provide clarity. Disappointing second stay

We stayed at Adagio Edinburgh last year and loved it so went this year with our family. Things have really changed, firstly they advertise a/c but this year you could only set it to 70° which did not cool room down (even though it was only 65° outside), the hallways were so hot from heating, it made you sweat when you walked down hall. We spoke to front desk and they said all the heat a/c was controlled from another location. Opening windows wasn't an option as we were near patio and people smoke out there (sone nights cigars which make our room smell of strongly of smoke. We were so hot and uncomfortable at night. We did figure out that if you leave spot light on in bathroom that keeps the fan on overnight, which helped a little. Our shower did not work the first morning and the front desk came down and used a screwdriver to fix it, then asked maintenance to replace controls. Maintenance came and said now it was working it was not necessary to replace. Next morning our shower did not work again!! Front desk came back again with screwdriver and asked why it had not been replaced. I explained and she did get it replaced that day. I am not sure if this hotel has changed management or what but if anyone from US wants a hotel with real a/c this is not the hotel for you.

I apologise for the issues you encountered with the air conditioning and the heat in the hallways. For context, our hotel does have onsite control of the system, and the comment you received would have referred to the computer interface we use to adjust and monitor settings. I’m sorry if this wasn’t explained more clearly at the time, and I understand how the temperature in your room and the hallways affected your comfort. I’m sorry as well for the repeated problems with your shower. While I’m glad the front desk team acted quickly to assist and eventually had the controls replaced, I regret the inconvenience and frustration caused by the delay in resolving the issue.
