This was my splurge week at the Sofitel getting ready to go to an Indian wedding. I had three top end spa packages in five days, a haircut and manicure/pedicure. My husband had a haircut and beard trim. Everything was world class and the Sofitel BKC excelled in every respect. Spa therapists Pakasha and Reimi were thorough, capable and sensitive to my comfort level. I have never felt so babied. The guys in hair and nails took pride in every detail of their work. Rarely have I enjoyed the experience of hair and nail services so much as I did at the Sofitel. This hotel was an oasis for us in the midst of an eight week long trip where we were resting between excursions and the upcoming wedding. We are very glad we chose the Sofitel, from the amazing greeting we received on arrival, to the ongoing, greetings and welcoming from every member of the staff. We felt like we were the only guests in the hotel, so personalized and special was the treatment we received from beginning to end. And then the lovely salesman in the gift shop! Well, he would have been happy to sell us a whole lot more, he was genuinely delighted with the small item that I bought. The concierge’s recommendations and service getting us to an ATM when we were afraid to walk and he ordered a hotel car to go across the block, without hesitation, and his bookings of tours we were interested in. No detail was overlooked in meeting our needs. We ate in the buffet dining room every night because of the enormous selection of really great food, and also because of the wonderful service from every person working there. As a diamond, Accor member you hope for this kind of service. No one knew I was a diamond status, because every person with this gem of a hotel treated every guest as if they were diamond. We may just return to Mumbai another day just to stay at this Sofitel. Thanks everyone for making our week with you. Such a wonderful experience!
