Unfortunately we weren't happy with our stay at Novotel Nusa Dua. We had a two bedroom suite, whilst generous in size (full kitchen and lounge room) the rooms are dated, the blinds had mildew on them and in general were not clean at all, in fact one room had a very strong mould/damp smell which we asked be addressed and it wasn't. We stayed via Luxury Escapes which included drinks and food vouchers - the menu when using vouchers is very limited and stays the same every day and lunch and dinner menus are the same. The bottom pool should be made an adults only pool as there was nowhere to really relax by a pool due to noise by children which is why one pool being adult only would work better. The spa was amazing, the staff and treatments were very good and could honestly only say positive things about this. The 'theme' nights for a buffet dinner were sadly lacking in expectations when it comes to food and entertainment. Food was minimal for a buffet and the entertainment was the same and only around 15 minutes, the theme nights cost per person AUD $60 without any drinks.

Not a good experience the night I arrived. I had to call reception because I had no hot water and the bathtub was leaking. They did send someone immediately but I was told I wouldn’t have hot water until after 11 pm over the next two days they had sent three more people to look at the bathtub because it was continuing to leak and then the sink literally collapsed see attached photo. wasn’t offered any compensation for the issues with the room.

Not bad but needs renovation

The service is good. The territory is beautiful. But the hotel itself is old, something may fall off in the rooms, or the air conditioner, shower, etc. may not work. The hotel definitely needs to be renovated. The girl and I checked into the room, and the air conditioner wasn't working. They fixed it for us, but the sediment remained. So keep in mind that the hotel may present unpleasant surprises.
