We stay here over night on our way back from the island to catch early flight home next day, I am a Gold ACCOR member so I try and stay at ACCOR Hotels whenever I can as they have a great group of hotels. Fiji Hotels are still struggling post COVID, so staffing is low and also maintenance is low as well. But The hotel itself needs a revamp, its old and need a freshen up. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable and very clean. No complaints there at all. Food options very minimal and Room Service was very expensive with minimal to choice from which is the after marth of COVID i think.

The service need to improve. No bottle was given , no complimentary drinks, all they blame covid. The rates compared with Raffles is expensive. Please get your service experience improved. I have travelled and stayed many times and need good services. I travel every week to Nadi.

Novotel over the years has been our second home the staff have always been like family to us and made us so welcome.this family trip home was much to be desired we always have our breakfast food at the hotel after going for our breakfast on the sunday morning 8.15 am to find empty containers fruit that looked like it had been cut several days no selection of breads and burnt jams no yogurt , we left minus our breakfast plus my husband being diabetic is always important the time frame of his foodOur room 212 the toilet not flushing we reported to reception who sent a guy to fix it he informed us nothing much could be done but the cupboard outsidewe could flush the tank from there so that became our daily task for 8 days bedsheets need washing well with bleach to freshen and brighten their tired look ,the tiny uncomfortable pillows are so hard and not very fresh leave you to place an item of your clothes over to enable you to sleep .we aware this is no fault of staff they do their very best owners need to bring their families there see look experience what exactly clients are putting up with and spending money on .The Novotel is situated in prime grounds beautiful peaceful that's the attraction , time for heavy changes before this investment crashes down you cannot rely on local conferences to support you you have to reach out to the public thankyou

Having passed through this hotel, in both it's Mocambo and Novotel iterations over several years (normally 1 night transits) it is disappointing to see how little has improved over that time. The rooms look just like they did 10 years ago and the a/c works just as badly. I didn't notice any significant difference in the restaurant either - the food is edible but that is just about it. ACCOR really need to address the whole package - especially at their current prices. Not at all worth it and will not use again until I hear that things have improved considerably!!

We moved to Suva - Fiji 4.5 years ago due to my work and numerous times we/myself stayed in this hotel only for transit after landing in Nadi or before flying out of Nadi. We notice the Air Condition in the room has always been an issue which has never been really fixed. We booked 2 rooms and both AC didn't work properly. They are more of fan blowing warm air than AC. In my room, the chain lock had been modified, looks like it was off before and they had nailed it back again but higher so you can't use to chain lock your room door. My kids in the other room had issue with the door-access card after coming back from our dinner outside the hotel. Had it replaced but still not working so they went back again to the Reception Area. This time, the hotel staff opened the room door for them with a promise to come back with another door-access card, which he never did till we checked out the next morning. The hotel property is huge but it is quite sad to see its condition, particularly when it bears the Brand of ACCOR.
