Book this Hotel only when you are planning to have party

I made the mistake to book this hotel, expecting to have a quiet and relaxing stay with beautiful view. I found out that during school holidays in Vietnam this place is frequently booked by Vietnamese Families with small children, looking to have a good time at the beach, at the party area in front of the hotel playing loud music till 1:30 a.m and if you want to have a room that is far away from the noise you loose the nice view on Ha Long Bay as well. Breakfast Restaurant was crowded, on 3 of 7 days I did not get a place and had to take my breakfast at the bar area. The other guests were - very Vietnamese - not respectful to disturbing other guests. We’re shouting in the alley during daytime, during the night. I still rate 3 of 5 points as the hotel staff was trying to do their outmost best to make my life better, but they knew already how the other guests were distracting the other tourists from abroad.

Awful experience. Floors soaking wet because children running in and out from the pool. Techno music banging on till 2 am. Breakfast was like a cattle market, no seats available, buffet trays empty, severely understaffed. When I checked out they approached me about a laundry bag being missing from the room which I used as my suncream was leaking. They charged me €5 for the bag which was ridiculous. Don't book this hotel, I stayed in 5 other hotels during my trip to Vietnam which were great but this one was manic, bad management

Noisy, blinding, & uncomfortable

Noisiest, brightest, place & rock-hard beds. Not only does techno blast until 2am from nearby beach clubs (which hitch is unfortunatel for the motels along this strip) but everything about this place screams (literally) noise. There’s not one area here is quiet or comfortable. I’m shocked there decent reviews at all. If I hadn’t arrived so late & been exhausted, i would have 100% have changed hotels. ** if you want any peace in this area you’ll want to make sure you’re miles away from the beach clubs as they BLAST techno every night till 2am

What a great hotel!! Positives include fabulous well- equipped, clean balcony room, outrageously good service, helpful staff, wonderful pool and excellent meals. Great convenient location across from a row of about 20 seafood and other restaurants. Negatives – there weren’t any !!! The place to stay in Ha Long Bay.

Good view, amazing hospitality

The location was 20ish min away from the port for our tour to Ha Long Bay. Amazing staff/ hospitality, beautiful view from the room, and great location. Bui Thu communicated with me pre arrival, I had a tiny hiccup with my visa, hence my transportation and hotel stay were uncertain, but she was patient, supportive and extremely careful to make sure I had a comfortable stay. I truly appreciate her help in arranging our transportation. on the final day, we kept the driver-car service for the entire day as we moved from Ha Long to sightseeing in Hanoi to the airport. Thank you so much, because of this my trip was seamless and much more enjoyable.
