Good value hotel very close to the centre (5-10 min walk). Check was easy ,breakfast was goos and the staff were very helpful. Lit was a great waiter looking after us with a bis smile and nothing was a problem.

It's very convenient for the city centre events and there is car parking on site but they charge you for the privilege. Staff are friendly and we had a delicious evening meal in the bar/restaurant but the positives end there. The room was disappointing, there was a large hole in the duvet cover, a badly stained towel, no lightbulb in the table light and the shower leaked badly all over the bathroom floor as the seal is on backwards. The tv has a message about Chromecasting from your phone and we spent quite some time trying to achieve this but failed. I followed the recommended method of contacting staff for assistance by using their chat feature but had no response to my query. I raised this at reception the next morning and received an apology, apparently the Chromecasting system was not working. I have yet to receive a reply to my chat message. Breakfast was adequate but the cooked food was barely warm and if you wanted eggs other than scrambled they wanted a premium of £2 per egg!

Nice spacious rooms, value for money and a decent breakfast made this a worthwhile stay while overnighting in Cardiff. I did also want to give a special shout out to Eilidh at reception who was extremely warm, welcoming and very helpful upon my arrival and departure. Thank you Eiidh, for making my stay feel extra special 🤩
