Vilimaina, the guest laundry lady here at the Sofitel Dino has stolen our hearts! She is the most beautiful, caring person I have ever met, and has been so helpful with keeping our whole family’s clothes clean during our stay. I would come back time and time again. Absolutely amazing resort, with the most beautiful staff. Truly beautiful x

Room bound due to illness

We were mostly room bound as our daughter was unwell. But I want to say a big thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay as comfortable as it could be. Special thanks to Vilimaina from guest laundry who checked in daily with us to see how are daughter was doing. She went out of her way many times and was so loving and caring too. Special thanks to all of those at front desk and management who helped us with arrangements to see a doctor and for the generous fruit platter that was sent to cheer her up after.

We have had a great stay as waitui beach club at the Sofitel. It’s like a resort within the resort. Staff are amazing with a special mention to Sevu who was the meet and great guy and made us feel extremely welcome from the first Moment, and Tom the canapés guy at waitui whilst also producing the outstanding breads at solis, and also Abraham who is the landscaper but provides the banana rum at waitui breakfast. We have had many great staff interactions and we thank them for making our stay so fantastic. We will return to this paradise.

Our second visit to the Sofitel Fiji—and let me tell you, it does *not* disappoint. From the moment we first strolled into the Waitui Beach Club back in 2022, we were greeted by the ever-so-cheerful Solomon Stark, whose professionalism and charm made the trip unforgettable. Naturally, we had to come back in 2024, and yep, same fabulous vibes, same friendly faces. Solomon and all the crew at the waitui beach club rolled out the red carpet yet again, treating us like the cool family we are. Solomon, thank you once again as always going above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one . Always nice to see Mary’s infectious smile greet you at the beach club and getting a warm hug from the beautiful Wilma, along all the staff at beach club, It honestly felt like a reunion with old friends—who just happen to work in paradise. What makes the Sofitel so special (aside from the breathtaking views, staff of course) are those thoughtful little touches. The sweet little biscuits at turndown, adds a beautiful touch, let’s not forget the luxurious creams after a heavenly massage—because who doesn’t love to be pampered? Also charming cheerful staff while you dine adds the perfect balance, thank to samisi at solis restaurant for making it not only pleasant but enjoyable. Huge shoutout to Solomon Stark for always going the extra mile to make our stay one to remember. We appreciate everything you do, and it’s exactly why we keep coming back year after year!"🙏🏻🤍 🙏🏻

Once again, the team did not disappoint. 4th time here and still the perfect place. The cleanliness is impeccable, the food amazing, but most of all the staff are the best.... special thanks to Solo, Amanda (Waitui Restaurant), Maoa and Justine (Solice Restaurant)... and, of course Tom 'The Bread Man'.... your service was fantastic. One last thank you to Mary (Waitui Beach Club) wishing you the very best over the next few weeks. See you all again in a couple of months hopefully.
