This certainly is a budget hotel. The room was basic and clean.The price was right. Location good. We had a ground floor room to the back of the building which was nice and quiet. Two pillows would be nice. The bathroom small and tired. Needs a make over. The shower area needs doing and the shower screen clings to you because the shower area is so small. The reception staff very pleasant and helpful.

Good position, next to a bus stop that gets to the city in 20 minutes, and handy to the Women's hospital, and the Valley for eating out. Cheap rates, and good staff, the stay was handy to budget consumers

People trying to get into the room, Drug dealing out of rooms, I have told them all about this and nothing has been done, the security is an absolute joke.. I had someone put something in my drink while I slept and almost died... DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL

We do absolutely take matters of security very seriously and have an onsite manager residing within the hotel to oversee the property overnight. Security footage was reviewed during your stay the morning after and once again when I arrived back at the hotel on Monday (I also have read your door lock to check for breaches of which none were recorded). Excellent service. During the night, my wife wound up lost in the hallway (memory loss). Found by a gent returning who got the night manager. She returned her to our room..Excellent service by the night manager.

Have stayed at Ibis budget hotels on several occasions now. Perfect set up and price for the short stay which would be say 2-4 days. Location is very important if you are relying on public transport the train station was not far away and bus almost out the front. Also the continental breakfast was included.

Bed bugs/ Insect bites

Everything is fine except the staff did not recognize my Accor status and did not accommodate my request for late check-out (the accommodation was not full). Also I woke up with a couple of insect bites on my neck and hands and fingers (? Fleas bites). I'm a doctor flying into RBWH for a visit and it was not such a pleasant stay.

A dissapointing stay

I use the Ibis Budget chain a lot and this property was a disappointment on a number of levels. The manager is a likeable bloke and checked me on reasonably seamlessly. One of the catches here is the rooms are only serviced daily "on request". Unfortunately, they don't tell you this until you get home on the second day and it hasn't been done. I did "request" for the next day and unfortunately, whilst the towels did get changed, the bathroom and toilet weren't cleaned. The WiFi is terrible and there was a fair bit of noise early in the morning. Its a shame, because it is well located, plenty of parking but tired and in need of some procedural work

Desk clerk was good enough on arrival to move me from a room on the main road to one at back of the hotel with less noise, really appreciated that effort. Bathroom is very tiny, very comfy bed and you can iron downstairs. Not really close to much, except Maccas across the road but for 1 night it was Ok.

Great value for money. Perfect location for family travelling to attend sporting event. Plenty of parking, friendly service, quick and easy check in. Bed was super comfy and room had everything we needed for one nights stay. Some noise from other patrons coming in late and leaving early in the morning and bathroom floor could have been cleaner. Overall though, a good choice for what we needed.

I stayed at my favorite brand of Accor..IBIS BUDGET...locatd at Windsor, Brisbane , and loved it. Great value..awsome comfy beds... Great staff....Manager Paul, I stayed with at IBIS BUDGET..St. Peters,Sydney at Christmas ..2016. Massive Car Park , for us country travelers who ..drive every where... Breakfast was fantastic and only $9

the facilities are good the problem is with the accessible rooms which do not cater for persons in a wheel chair with the exception of the bathroom which is excellent. the in house breakfast leaves a lot to be desired our first breakfast was Thursday morning the bread had been frozen and was stale it smelt stale and tasted stale Friday was somewhat better still frozen bread but at least somewhat fresher. You would wonder why they need to use frozen $1 per loaf bread when they are in the center of a major city.

Was annoyed to find out a hotel didnt have a portable cot. Also had people in the car park drinking half the night being loud and keeping us awake. Over all was a good location but felt like room was over priced

The hotel is in a convenient location - handy to the city but lacking in nearby restaurants, bars etc. The service is excellent and rooms are immaculately clean and modern. The bathroom is minimalistic and is a very small space with nowhere to store your toiletries. My room faced the main road and so was subject to traffic noise. Overall it was value for money.

Epic disappointment

I recently moved away from Brisbane but had to come back for business. The Ibis budget Windsor was located exactly where I needed to be for my meetings so I stayed there for the first time ever. I was shocked at the dismal state of the rooms and general low level of cleanliness and care of the facilities. The initial room that I was assigned has stains in the bathroom and on the bedside table. When I brought up the issue the staff was receptive and responsive. However, we inspected two other rooms before we could find one that was clean enough (and even then I found coffee stains on the wall). The room faced a very busy main road and I could hear traffic all night. I have stayed at Ibis hotels overseas and have always been satisfied. I shall no longer be staying at Ibis hotels in Australia.

Great location, close to the CBD, with a bus stop out the front which was very convenient. Clean rooms, great beds, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I was given a room overlooking the main road and noise from passing vehicles was quite loud, especially as there was no way of blocking the noise coming straight through the big ventilation hole located above the window. Noise from other guests was also an issue as the sound insulation between the rooms is not up to the standard of other hotels I have stayed in. If I could get a room away from the stairwells and overlooking the car park rather than the main road then I'd stay here again, otherwise I will look elsewhere.

pontos negativos: entrava uma forte corrente de ar por uma abertura da janela que não permite ser fechada; deficiente isolamento acústico para a rua pela referida janela sendo que a rua tem muitíssimo trafico após 6:00AM sendo impossível dormir, wc demasiado pequeno, tal como tudo lá dentro. Ferrugem nos aros metálicos da porta, após o banho, todo o wc fica molhado, sendo impossível utilizar wc sem molhar pés. Pequeno almoço demasiado caro para o ofertado Positivo: cama e colchão em boas condições, televisão de dimensões generosas

First time in a Ibis Budget, room ok for the price, but small bathroom as everything on it, impossible to use the shower with out spillage water, heavy rust next to the floor not acceptable on ibis, after a shower impossible to use the bathroom, bed and tv ok, window allow a constant stream of air and to much noise from the street

Good central location with easy access to the city. Friendly and efficient reception process and staff. Does tend to get a bit noisy as is on a main traffic thoroughfare. Overall a good venue and not bad for a budget motel, but beds are not particularly comfortable and there are not enough pillows (an extra pillow would be good), but other than that Ok.
