Beautiful setting, picturesque roses and lovely gardens. Lake and surrounding mountains offer mesmerizing views. Nice surroundings with local stores and attractions. Rooms are dated and small but clean and comfortable. WiFi is great. Breakfast is great with plenty of food and options. Staff is extremely friendly. Would recommend it to everyone.

Great location VERY RUN down hotel! Rather stay elsewhere. So many better hotels around town.

Amazing location, front desk staff unfriendly or helpful, room is terrible, bathroom needs major update, carpet very worn. Housekeeping staff the best. Wouldn’t stay again, Accor get your act together! Rather stay in another hotel, so many better ones in the Town. Very dissatisfied!

Very Poor Experience…Email them for any room upgrade as i was celebrating my 11 Wedding Anniversary and Accor Platinum Member i knw room upgrade are allways subject to availability but atleast they should have allocated King bed not double single beds….i mean how they even allocate this type of bed Secondly i ordered food at 10:28 pm when inquiring at 11:19 pm the person at reception said it may take 5,10,20 mins i cannot guarantee it as food preparation requires time i said i will complain regarding that he said go ahead and complain i dont care His name was Mr Vinay Chabra Being Accor Platinum Member since last 3 yrs n stayed atleast more than 100 accor hotels including ibis but this type of behaviour was nvr expected Infact Ibis budget reception have better attitude than this If you are indian stay away from this hotel at any cost as they are most racist against insiands esp if the person is indian like Mr Vinay Chabra then u will be humiliated for staying here

周りからの騒音と振動、老朽化、中庭での喫煙で休まらなかった。ドアの開閉の音と振動、他にも何をすればこんな騒音と振動が起こるのか理解できない。

I stayed at the Novotel for two nights, each either side of a hiking trip in Fiordland. My standard rooms on both nights were clean and comfortable with adequate space for a solo traveller. Check in was efficient and the reception staff were informative about the hotel’s facilities and I was, on the second occasion, pleasantly surprised that my suitcase (that the hotel stored during my absence) was already in my allocated room upon my arrival. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I understand the hotel is gradually refurbishing and made my bookings with this in mind. This didn’t impact upon my stay at all other than noticing that my bathroom basin could have been replaced due to a rather long crack - a visual rather than functional issue. Accommodation in Queenstown is always priced at a premium so the Novotel might not appear to be inexpensive compared to similar hotels in other locations. However, given the cost of other Queenstown options , it is good value for the price. 10/10 for the excellent location and access to other services, restaurants etc.
