The location for a 3-night stay was superb. Parking was tight, but we minimized the $6/hour charge in that area by planning day-trips to other areas during the daytime. Great shopping and dining and sight-seeing choices nearby. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We do wish the pillows here and at all the other NZ hotels we stayed at were more firm.

Was given a rundown room. Curtains creased and coming off rail, rusty bath and difficult to shower in (and I am not a large person). Door to outside was broken. I also got a hot chocolate...in the smallest take away cup I have seen. It was only about 125ml...not even a cup. Such a rip off!. The room was not worth what I paid. Trainee staff member was efficient....her trainer was odd standing right over her. Hotel is in a great location though.
