Great Location and Nile View Great staff Breakfast was good Room service food was good Downside loud music every night. The hotel is surrounded by clubs and party boats. Noisy till 3-4 am in the morning most nights we were there. When we asked we were told same in most rooms. So no chance of moving. I think great for youngsters looking for party environment. Little dated and could do with refurbishment. We booked Luxury Room thru a travel agent so could not claim our points. Breakfast asked for Egg White Omelette and was not accommodated due to busy time. Poor excuse by unfriendly chef that morning. Overall experience is average for a 5* Hotel Plus side the staff were all great. Accor Management you need to take note.

A superb experience! My routine for 4 days was running here and there to attend training, alongside I was rushing to head out for a quick city tour. So I have no time to sit in the room and tidy up. But always, they keep it clean and the bed looks always cozy for me to jump in and just relax after a long day.

Sofitel is your best option in Cairo

I’m a frequent guest at Sofitel Cairo Elgezirah, with 5 to 6 times stays every year. Last time was disappointing for me, as my booking was supposed to be in a panoramic millesime room, but unfortunately I was given a lower category room with partial nile view and regular bathtub shower instead of stand shower. Everything else was good as usual but the above incident spoiled my trip. Regards, Nasser Binsaeed
