Viele Hotels in Cairo rühmen sich ja mit ihrer Nähe zum Nil. Aber wenn Sie auf wunderbaren Terrassen direkt am Nil schlemmen oder eine Shisha geniessen wollen, dann ist das Sofitel El Gezirah erste Wahl! Ebenso, wenn Sie in einem wunderbar temperierten Outdoor Pool mit Blick auf den Nil ihre Bahnen ziehen wollen. Das Personal ist auf zack. Allen voran die Jungs vom Pool Service Ibrahim und Mohammed. Sie sorgen dafür, dass du immer Schatten hast dank Schirm und frische Towels und sogar den Badehosen Dryer zeigen sie dir! Aber auch Tarek am Front Desk macht einen excellenten Job. Also alles top im Sofitel? Leider nicht ganz. Die Weinpreise sind wirklich out of this world. Nrgendwo sonst in Cairo mussten wir soviel abdrücken für eine Flasche Wein (und wir waren wirklich in der Top Gastronomie unterwegs.) Da sollte das F&B Team nochmal mit dem spitzen Bleistift nachrechnen, um in Cairo mit den Sofitel Weinpreisen wettbewerbsfähig zu sein.

Wir wareb auf Ägyptenrundreise und haben Statin im Sifitel gemacht. Ein schönes Stadthotel, die Zimmer waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ansonsten war alles sehr gut, besonders die Gastronomie.
